Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is good we can have one major subject to which we can have 4 years degree for us those who want to do phd. Can pursue it directly and have tike saved for their future. Being the course is worth many careers.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 11710 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly wise has gone higher than last year. Such as to be 7010 rs. Last year and now to be 11710 Rs. Its not as expected such as the infrastructure and other facilities we get. But the teachers are as good and helpful for all students.

Campus Life :

The club involvement was less but it is rising time to time . And most major festivals are only mostly celebrated as in the form of Competitions,etc. The sports are not much there. Such as ncc and nss are active that we can participate in.

Admission :

The eligibility for mine was as on the basis level of cuet that had scored . The cutoff for my college was average and many general categories were present only. Therefore, i just randomly selected this college in my preference list and got my admission here and i am happy with it.

Faculty :

The students relationship with faculties are nice and not many prpblems occur with amy student. Every faculty member does show and guide us the way to help us build. There are mainly 7 exams in 1 semester and 2 semesters is equal to 1 year.

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper.But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Life as a student in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
