- Fees was very affordable, the college had great teachers, who solved doubts, and interacted well with us.
- College fests were grand, and very fun to be a part of.
Dislikes
- No playground in campus, there is a ground but it’s too rough, and unplayable, and playing there is only allowed if any event is there.
- Not much emphasis on sports at all, selections happened and not many people were even aware.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to discover other fields so I decided to opt for a fairly easy course, and also this was the only course where seats were available. Exams could have some time gap between them. To give more time to prepare.
Placement Experience :
Placements do happen, that too from big companies like Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, and Banks, overall the placements are very good if someone is looking for a corporate job. I had an interest in the Advertising field but not many companies with this job role arrived.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Around 19000 every year, which was very affordable especially coming from ICSE schools, and then CBSE schools. There used to be IVs which were a little overpriced around 4k but the college fees were very affordable.
Campus Life :
Annual Fest was called SIESONS. Commitment we had to give for sponsorships always started 10k and you had to bargain to bring it to 5k. Not sure about this, I could he wrong but I have heard the college doesn't make any effort in financing. So the heads and core go through a lot of pressure. The crowd of SIES, although very pretentious were still better than the rest, because they mind their own business.
Admission :
I applied for colleges very late, because I was unaware of the process, which lead to all the colleges' seats being full, so I had to apply to amywhere I could. Although I was happy I got in SIES, because it was close to my house.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio was 70-1, mostly the students never paid attention, but if anyone did have doubts, faculty dim make an effort to help. Sugandha Ma'am was very formal, and professional, also Jinal ma'am who was very friendly and fun. The course BCom did not have an extremely difficult syllabus, except economics, so most students did pass except in Economics.
