Remarks :

Well, my college is just the best in academics and the teaching facilities are best in helping students. Other than that fest, the canteen and infrastructure are not up to that level as we see in other DU colleges like Hansraj, Stephens or Ramjas.

Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is very good and is designed in such a way that it will help students to prepare for jobs and land a good placement. The course contains subjects from very fields like programing, web development, software engineering, etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Well this is one of the fields where my college lacks at. The internship opportunities in this college are almost none and one or two internship which student get are not helpful for students for their jobs. So I applied for internships through online medium.

Placement Experience :

Well the placement and job opportunities is not much in this college. We had almost 6-7 companies which gave jobs to 20 students out of 80 students in Computer Science course. Although college conducts various placement preparation class but it fails to attract more companies for job opportunities.

College Events :

At my time, there was not much events celebrated in much college. We had tech fest, annual cultural fest and sports day as events celebrated in our college and these events are not celebrated in top quality. But we now have student union in our college which conducted diwali mela and it was a great event. So I think there would be more events from now on and also on good quality.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For my course, the annual fee was approx 24,000 which included tuition fees, maintenance charges, anti-ragging cell, security deposit, and many more charges. But this fee is slightly less when compared with other colleges which take the approximately 27,500+ fee. Thus in comparison to other colleges, the fee is feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well, the college offers many scholarships to help bright students avail of education much easily without putting a financial load on their parents. My friends had availed scholarships for financially weaker students which helped them to afford their education.

Campus Life :

The computer lab has upgraded a lot recently. All CRT based desktops have been switched with laptops and Internet connectivity is quite good. Well, we missed the sports room at my time as it was always closed. But we have a huge football ground and also volleyball, basketball and tennis court where we played a lot in our free time.

Hostel Facilities :

Well, there is one female hostel in our college which is quite okay okay and for men, they have to PG rooms nearby. Elevator in college doesn't work most of the time. College building is getting improved as it was getting covered with good quality tiles at my time. So the overall infrastructure is quite okayish.

Alumni/Alumna :

Well, we didn't get the chance to meet our alumni as there was no alumni meeting at my time. But in our last year college charged 200 for conducting alumni fee from now onwards and let's see if any alumni meeting takes place. But the seniors are very helpful and they provide their notes and are always ready to help their juniors.

Exam Structure :

Well, the Exam Structure is quite straight forward. Whatever the faculties teach in class are very relevant from the exam point of view, the questions become easier to solve based on the knowledge gathered in class. Thus there is not much to discuss.

Admission :

The admission in this college for B.Sc (Hons.) CS course happens via merit list. First they release the cutoff list by describing minimum percentage of 12th marks required to take admission. Then after one clears the cutoff then one just need to fill admission and pay the course to get the admission. I got admission in 3rd cutoff list.

Faculty :

This college contains the most number of faculties for the Computer Science department in DU (approx 20) and each faculty is very experienced in their fields (except for 1-2 ad-hoc which have a problem in teaching subjects to students as they need to). Faculty is very helping in nature and them clear doubts in student friendly manner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course syllabus is good and better then some of the other courses. This course helps and prepares students for the real world application as it is a practical course and have all the industrial related topics in it. In my opinion the college should offer more industrial vists for the students. The difficulty level of exams is Average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
