Course Curriculum Overview :

MBBS is a course that leads us to a no le proffesion that is a doctor . And this course prepares us very well for tge real world and how to interact w people as we regularly meet patients in the hospital during our postings.

Internships Opportunities :

There are no external internships in MBBS . In mbbs u have to do 1 year of compulsory internship in the same college for which we are also given stipend each month. And as far as for vmmc it has tye best exposure for internship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Im currently in first year and i have paid ?50,000 for the whole year . Tution fees is ?15,000. University fees is ?25,000. Student activity fees is ?5000 . Security money is ?5000(refundable ). The fees is same for all student irrespective of their their category . Since it is a government college so the fees is already subsidized so no scholarships.

Campus Life :

NIRAVAN - is tge annual fest of our college (inter college) . Then we have VPL (intra college sports fest) .library operates 24/7 and it has every book u can think of . For sports we have a society infernos which is very active . We have students association and other societies as well.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 2 boys hostel and 1 girla hostel . The condition of tge rooms is great . The fees is 6k for an year . We are even allowed to use AC or any other appliance . We are given rooms on a basis of 2 person sharing till 3rd year . The rooms are not that spacious but it works . The mess is 24/7 working and good food with affordable price .

Admission :

I was confused bw MAMC VMMC(my clg) and AIIMS . AIIMS i couldnt qualify . Now between vmmc and mamc . Both are great colleges but vmmc has better infrastructure as it is a newer clg . Hostel favilities are better in vmmc . Its has more PG qouta comparitively.

Faculty :

Facultu to student ratios is very good . The faculty is very understanding and helpful. Not just our proffesors but seniors and SRs JRs are also very helpful. Each department's faculty is great in its own way . Theres nothing about them that i dislike . Exams are conducted regularly . Very relevant to course .

Other Applied Colleges

All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum recently updated by NMC is mainly based on how we will deal with a real life situation and focused mainly on diseases which are prevailing in India . The teaching method should be on a blackboard rather than reading a PPT which no one can understand . There should be weekly exams for all the subjects with focus on NEET PG mainly MCQ type.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an all-girls college with a batch strength of 240. It is one of the top medical colleges in the country and is situated in central Delhi it has the best location among all the medical colleges in Delhi. All the faculty here are the best in their fields and are very dedicated. Exams are given importance here you will have to give term 1, term 2, pre- proffs/ sent ups and then the final exams called proffs to be promoted to next year

Placement Experience:

In medical colleges, the term placement is not suitable. After doing the MBBS we have to give the NEET PG exam and according to the rank in this exam we get we specialize stream. The students from my college get seats in the very prestigious AIIMS Delhi, Maulana Azad, and many other prestigious colleges. Every year out of 170, 130 to 140 students are selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is my dream, and this college makes it more interesting. This course will give u both name and fame. The satisfaction after saving someone's life is beyond expectation, and it's difficult so challenges me more and I like to face challenges. Every department has professors, associate professors, senior residents, and postgraduate students, the ratio of faculty students is quite good, and all the faculties are always ready to help and support U in any situation. Every faculty is highly qualified, even though some of them hold more than 5-6 degrees, and every professor has more than 10 yrs of teaching experience, and that too in a prestigious organization. I'm blessed to have such an awesome faculty. MBBS and exams a never-ending love story, Nearly at an interval every 3 months, we have an exam, and they are really tough. Viva after every unit, competency, small group discussions, self-directed learning, stage vivas, spotting exams. But these exams are a must if u want to become better.

Placement Experience:

After the internship I.e. after mbbs one usually applies for post-graduation. Since vmmc comes under IP university so you will get an internal quota. But yes can join any hospital and start practicing. Talking about me I will most probably pursue post-graduation from vmmc only. Here, we have one of the highest stipends all over India during pg.
