Remarks :

The positive thing about my university is that most of the teachers are good, while some are worst. They provide good teaching and this college is worth joining ( for physiotherapy as per my experience until now)

Entrance Preview :

Interview, Marksheet submission of Under graduate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course Curriculum is very effective, interesting, and may be one of the best ways to teach students. Their ways of teaching will bring low mark scoring students to a better marks. I would give an 8 out of 10 rating for the course curriculum of my university

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. Very good experience with good exposure to many different kinds of patients ( as I'm a physiotherapist) and the choice placement ( where you work ) was also great. Overall I really loved it and would recommend to my friends and others who are searching for a college/university.

Placement Experience :

For the students who pass with flying colours, job opportunities are very easy, indeed to get. But for people who do not study, it is very difficult. For average students it is easy but need to wait for sometime because of they're marks. But it also depends on their experience as teachers will recommend for job opportunities.

College Events :

There were many celebrations that were conducted in Saveetha medical College, which includes : Christmas, Pongal, Eid Mubarak, Diwali, Republic day, Independence day. This college is not against any culture or religion. There were also many conferences and workshops that took place.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For low class families it is very difficult to pay the fees. It will be hard for them. For middle class families where people still go for jobs, it will be tough to pay the fees but will be worth as the scope is the best.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This college provides good loan facility as per the marks scored in under graduate. Since my mark at the under graduate was very good, I had a concession of 30 Percentage in my post graduate ( Saveetha medical College ), that is, for my medical fee.

Campus Life :

This college provides great facilities for outdoor games. There are no facilities or support provided for indoor games by this college. We have a big ground for physical exercise and sports. Thus this college not only emphasizes on studies, but also supports sports.

Hostel Facilities :

I am not in hostel, but this opinion is from my friend. The facilities were very convenient and environmental friendly. The hostel warden ensured the cleanliness of the hostel everyday. WiFi facilities is available. Seperate hall for studies( study hall), seperate hall for entertainment like TV, indoor games, music etc. Every floor we had water tanks which provided water facilities. The bathrooms were neat and well built.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are same characteristics as teachers. Sometimes ragging happens. it is just like every other colleges/universities. There are nerds, fools, people who join for the sake of degree and many more. Overall it's just normal like other colleges and universities as I mentioned above.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is an early pattern. In my course (physiotherapy) , every year there is examination of 200 marks which includes practicals and theory, 100 each. This is for two years ( post graduation )

Admission :

To join this University, I provided my marksheet of under graduate, and then there was a short interview later. If they are convinced you can get the seat in this university. The interview was about 20min to 30min long.

Faculty :

The faculty members of this university are of various characters. Some are very partial, some are very strict, some are very great professors and others have worst behaviour. Sometimes they don't care about the situation, but half of the time it is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took this course in my own interest to learn and do much research on physio. Around 25 faculties are working and nearly 100 students are in each batch so 4×100 students and 200 students from MPT. Well-educated and experienced faculty. On the exam aspect, the monthly semester is conducted which easier to concentrate and learn many things.

Admission:

For applying to any UG course, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a board recognized by the Government of India which is the basic eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply for admissions via offline mode by mailing the filled application form.

Placement Experience:

It's a new private college and it provides a six month internship facility to all the students. Students are required to be regular in their classes and keep a track of all the notes that are provided, so as to excel better. Placements mostly depends on how one performs in academics.
