- The course is very much important and have much impact on society.
- The campus is too beautiful. Peaceful for mind, you can get the largest agricultural library of Asia here.
Dislikes
- Placement cell is useless, no one can succeed in life after the hardwork of 4 years.
- Authority have no power and can't provide peace through out the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually I like nature more, that's why I have choosen the course. Future scope is also good of this course as compared to other normal general hons. You can be a professor easily after completing PhD in any department. You have to focus more on study and try to remember everything you learn. Exams takes place at every 3rd month and it lasts for near about 2 months.
Internships Opportunities :
There is as such opportunities of placement or internship. But there's a internship program in 7th semester for all the students. This is quite good. The internship program named RAWE and RAHE. You can learn many things through the process.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Here per semester you need 11k and at the time of admission 24k needed. This fees is same for all category students. Scholarship like SVMCM, Oikashri is available for the students, through which student can get 18k per year.
Campus Life :
Few annual function take place here like freshers party, Nairhit annual function, Swaraswati puja and many more. An interyear tournament takes place every year here. Have good opportunity of sports in this university. But in the campus, there having deep influence of local political party. Try to avoid the politics.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are not too good. But is enough to spend life. You don't need to pay any fees for the hostel, just mess bill needed. Mess food quality is very much less. Mess bill is near about 2.5k per month, so it's quite affordable. You should prefer hostel rather than pg. Cause hostel life is too much important to build your character and personality.
Admission :
I have applied for UBKV too. This is also a good agricultural university. But BCKV is better, that's why I have choosen the university. No I haven't get any rejection cause my percentage in 12th board exam was too good. You can get admission here through ICAR exam or through getting good score in 12th board exam.
Faculty :
Agriculture faculty carries near about 150 students per year. Horticulture faculty carries near about 40 students per year and the Ag engineering faculty carries near about 30 students per year. All the courses are very much helpful for the carrier building purpose. As per me, horticulture faculty is the best on the basis of carrier opportunity. It's a new course and still don't reach the threshold level. Per semester there will be near about 9-11 courses and you have to give exam for each course three times (Midsem, Practical, Endsem) per semester. Near about 15% students fail to pass the semester. The course is little bit heavy and need to study more.
