Course Curriculum Overview :
It is based on basic knowledge about engineering and professional knowledge about soil mechanics, farm mechanics and power, post processing of food production. It is a mixture of civil, mechanical, automobile and food engineering. So you'll get the knowledge of all these traits.
Placement Experience :
You can choose for higher education in the university or give gate exam. Don't have so hope about placement. Very less amount of companies come in here.
College Events :
We had cultural program 2-3 times a year. Other events are also celebrated. Many well known artists from state and national level are invited in those. There is annual cultural event where MD irfan, fossils, underground authority and others have performed. Other than annual cultural event, there are hostel specific events and other events are organised through out the whole year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Very feasible. It has a semester fee of 2200 per semester. As it is a government funded University, the fees are kept minimum. This amount is to paid at the starting of the semester. There is a total of 8 semester. Wo training programs are arranged in 2nd and 3rd year of which, the university gives the remuneration
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
West Bengal gvt has its own scholarship program. Otherwise there is a central funded scholarship available.
Campus Life :
Campus is very big and living. Lots of greenery is present. Very quiet too. Gender ratio is more inclined towards male. You'll have so many sports activities going around like football, cricket, badminton, table tennis etc. It have a well equipped gymnasium.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes. The hostel is within the college campus. It is very well maintained and fooding is arranged within. The food is served twice a day prepared within the hostel premises. The students have the rights to choose the menu.
Alumni/Alumna :
They are the most helpful here. In hostel, you'll have to live with seniors being seperated by a wing.
Admission :
You have to get enough rank in wbjee or give aisee entrance. You have to get through the counseling procedure and get your chance there. for the engineering course, you can follow these. Otherwise if you want to pursue general BSC degree, then you have to apply with the marks of 12th exam. They prepare the merit list accordingly.
Faculty :
Very experienced and dedicated professionals with keen interest of educating the students. There are professors with specific knowledge who are teaching these subjects for many years. Each of the department has their own teachers with knowledge and experience with them. They are all IIT gold medalist. They are very helpful with the students. They are ready to clear any doubt any time.
