Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose civil engineering because it is my interest to build huge building and MVJCE is the right choice for me The curriculum is preparing well for my future and i think itll help me alot The college can do more of industrial visits to different companies The exams are easy to clear

Class Size : 13Course Fees : INR 105690 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships provided as far as my knowledge is Atkins is offering internships for civil students and hiring them as soon as they graduate depending on the performance of the interns I still did not take any projects since im still in the 4 semester but we will take it soon in the 6th semester

Placement Experience :

The placements in my college is improving in a good way More companies are visiting specially for Core branching The highest pakage was 26LPA as for 2024 from ECE department in a Sea Port company My plan is to settle for a job after getting my degree

Fees and Financial Aid :

I pay 105690 rupee per year and four in four years Ill be paying 422760 My friends who came through KCET are also paying the same My friends who came through management is paying 122000 per year I receive an amount of Rs20000 every year from state scholars

Campus Life :

The campus is very good There are alot of fests coming up slowly and slowly The library books and journals are also up to date with relavant informations The facilities in our college is very poor The sports facilities need more improvement

Admission :

I didn't apply for any other colleges because i got only this option after my KCET I chose this college because it is affordable and one of the best around Whitefield You have to clear PUC with 60%marks in science stream After which you have to clear kCet examinations

Faculty :

There are enough faculties to teach every students The student and faculties relationship is also very good I dont dislike any faculty because they are very qualified and well to do There are 3 internal exams conducted and 1 semesters exams

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
