  • The thing I dislike are not more but some but placement for topper are easy to get but under confident students or below average students are not promoted or motivated to go for placement
  • Another thing is there is no metro line near my college so it’s little tough for us to reach college

Course Curriculum Overview :

So I have choose the course because I was from commerce background and really wanted to pursue it further and Gargi provides a curriculum which will help you in your further career or further academic pursuits example I have taken statistics and it's helping me in my career But I think teacher should follow some teaching methods which will help the students to grab the concept more easily . Frequency of exams was quite understandable after each semester ends we had exams and difficulty level was average not so high not so easy .

Placement Experience :

•Okay from 3rd year a student is eligible for placement in my course •some of the top companies were Deloitte, zee media, Accenture ,Amazon ,wipro, itc, etc •And the highest package offered till now are 21lpa, and median 4lpa, and average 5lpa. •see the top students got the best offers who were topper like who got 90 percent or above they got the prestigious company and average student got the average offer if you hustle more and be confident and have communication skill and have knowledge or little competent and academic skill you could definitely get a good company irrespective of if you are topper or average or below average • I have sat for placement and I am an average student so I got average offer but I am very grateful for my college for all the opportunities that my college has given to make me stand up on my feet and for my future endeavours

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Okay so for my course bcom we had to pay approx ?12500 annually and some other charges included may sum up to 15000 and it was same for all categories though there are scholarships available for students from government I don't know about college but the two scholarships that I am aware of from government are PMSSS AND NSP national scholarships programme

Campus Life :

Campus life in Gargi was anything that I can ask for the canteen life though food in canteen was average and a small cafe also which was a place we all friends used to gather for chit chats . And Gargi is also known for its fest where many reknowned celebs come to perform like jubin Nautiyal etc but in year 2020 we all were struck in corona virus so we were those students who miss all the fun and fest were never like before it used to . But still we had Zistava which was phenomenal and the all time favourite reveri where we had stalls from students grabbing opportunities to show their talent and earn some pennies it's all worth it . See as iof library I cannot tell in detail because I rarely visit library in college but I have visited few times and I get books I search for there is all the subjects you want book of it's all knowledge fill there . Our class was were okay well infrastructured and equipped it had fans which was not enough in summers but we can't ask more

Admission :

•Okay so I applied to three colleges Du Gargi college, Christ benglore and Punjab university but Delhi university was on my priority list so I got in all of them but as Gargi was on my priority list I choose Gargi . •And who would not choose Delhi university over any other college in India because it's the most reputated college and provide excellence placement for future endeavours. •so the admissions process is pretty simple and systematic once you cleared the cutoff of your course you will get admission so after clearing cutoff you need to pay the admission fee which is around 13000 including you academic fee for one year But the above is my experience which was in 2020 but now I guess you need to first clear an exam which I am not aware of

Faculty :

Okay so the relationship between faculty members are student are off and on like the principal doesn't give a damn if the students are protesting but sometimes the students ask for valid things . So the faculty members that I liked the most is Proff.Anjali Siwal she is the professor who doesn't make you feel low she behaves in a very friendly manner and I love her teaching methods . The faculty that I didn't like there is no teacher that I didn't like but but I can say whom I liked a less that can be prof. Sonali she was just rude something which makes every student scared of her . There are approx four subject in each semester and we choose subject according to our likes and for me and our whole class cooperate accounting was the toughest

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com]

Because I got the Gargi college and it’s more prestigious so I choose Gargi

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course, bcom (prog), there are few subjects which helps in real world applications such as income tax, gst, accounting, etc which could also help in our future academic pursuits. The difficulty level is not much high if you are well prepared then the exams are easy.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in Campus placements after completion of Sem 4 exams & can join after graduating. Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. The efforts of each and every member of the cell are commendable.

the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.

Actually, our college starts campus as a 2nd-year student. And most of the best part of campus is that every student is selected individually for performance and report. If a student is able to clear the campus requirement he or she will be easily selected and his carrier start making
