Dislikes

  • The exam systems are not up to the mark. They always late over the period to take exams
  • The girls and boys ratio is such : 10:90

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very well designed and the syllabus is full of important chapters . The curriculum is designed such that a student can manage both the studies and other activities or any skill learning activities. Exams are taken every second month.

Internships Opportunities :

I got intership under dabur India Ltd. There was no stipend at all but the learning was priceless. I did a project on quality Assurance of raw honey under a controlled facility. That was very informative and justified.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as adani Wilmar, Hindustan coke, emami agrovet, itc foods, Bengal beverages, dabur, zifo r&d, labvantage, Accenture, etc. Highest package for the current year is around 750000 and average is aroun 300000 per annum. 89% students got placement till now this year. My plane is to do job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year wise fees is around 85000. Tuition fee is around 25 to 29 thousand. There are many students who are studying through tws quota and scholarships and special admission. The Swami Vivekananda merit Cum means scholarship is very good for the students who got above 60% marks per year wise.

Campus Life :

Riviera is the annual cultural fest, and prayukti is the name of our tech fest. We have a massive central library named aryabhatta library with thousands of books. Every class room is sir conditioned and have digital boards for easy learning, with speakers inbuilt through out the rooms. Annual sports in our college is a very prestigious fest. Social groups or ngo are also very active between students

Admission :

I applied for jadavpur university but my rank was not up to the mark so I didn't get chance there. I didn't got any rejections because I didn't applied to colleges other than hit and jadavpur. Admission can be done through jelet exam for lateral entry and jee for normal admission. Cuttoffs are not such a factor if your rank is 10k, you are also in if the competition is low

Faculty :

The faculty to students ratio: 20:80 The teachers are very approachable and kind when it is about study related issues or any. I don't think taking names would be good. But all my teachers of food technology department helped me a lot through my whole journey. I don't know anyone whom I don't like. Exams are tough for anyone. There are 3 continuous assessments and the final semester exam. Somewhere between 15 to 18% of the students fail in the exams. Not always but sometimes. Course curriculum is very well structured.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
