Course Curriculum Overview :

• the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision it'll making during my diploma in food processing technology. So during my b.tech degree it'll be easy to understandable. • the curriculum prepares me for my work-life & real life application will much easier nowadays. • some kind on theory subjects need to improving like food toxicology, flavour technology etc.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 259650 per year

Internships Opportunities :

• according to our food technology department there will provide food industry for our future job facilities ideas in internship period. The food companies like ITC food Coca-Cola Amul Dabur pepsico etc will provided. • during internship there will be project on new product development ideas on food product and also provide by mentor of companies during internship.

Placement Experience :

•From 6th & 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. • in my department the core company like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, EtG world, ITC food, adani group, kevender, labvantage etc. • the average package will be 2.4lakh/annum & the percentage in food companies for boys will much better it's near about 88% • after getting my degree I'll do job for practical experience.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

•The year wise fees will be 40,000/- •The tuition fees will be 30,000/- registration will be 2000/- admission fees 59650/- & the compulsory charges during the course completion 5000/- •Yes the batchmates fees for other categories will be different. •The Swami Vivekananda's merit cum scholarship will be provided through our 60% marks the annual amount will be 60000/-

Campus Life :

• the Rivera is our annual culture festival & this is the tech fest in every year. Also different department has tech fest facilities in every months. • the range of the books and the journal for each and every department has much much enough to gain our knowledge. • we have also annual sports in every year where the student and faculties also participate for sports. And other sports like cricket football volleyball Kabaddi racket also available. • In our college difference clubs and student portal of available like samarpan, h i t inside and many more.

Admission :

• on my personal perspective on West Bengal there will poor btech college available in food technology branch this branch will be futuristic course. The one and only best college on my view that will be Jadavpur engineering College because of this is one of the best govt. College and the placements & fees will be very much low. • in my college there will 2ways to addmission after your 12th exam on you'll crack wbjee exam and if you're diploma polytechnic Holder then you'll crack wbjelet exam.

Faculty :

•The faculty to students ratio will be more & the relationship between us respectful and loving. • some respectful facilities in our department like AD sir, AKM sir, IDP ma'am, SD ma'am those are i personally likely most for their teaching methods & easy to understandable and very helpful in any time. • No any this kind of teacher not available in our department to dislikes them. • There are 3Class test in 1semester, lab internal & practical external also PPT presentation available. And the course subjects are much relevant with my curriculum.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
