Course Curriculum Overview :

As a Core branch student Curriculum is good enough to get ready for any more studies as well as for jobs. For electronics we get to cover a lot of topics that are taught in a pretty decent manner. But I would suggest to study some topics on our own as well as everything is not possible to be covered by the teacher in a sem. as schedule doesn't allow for long hours of classes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

* Year wise fees will be 62,000 times (2-sem). as per yr 23-24 * tuition fee is around 60k and rest comes under library and misc. fees. *caution money is 5000. *for TFW i.e. tuition fee waivier students fee comes down to half. *Students can opt for DRCC from their respective states as well.

Campus Life :

*rivera is the cultural fest of the college. *prayukti is the tech fest of HIT. *Library is full with books which are more than sufficient for the student to get course and exam ready. *Sport events takes place mostly during winters. *There are many Clubs and Socities over here where students can take part and be the members of the team. Some reputed societies like IEEE has student branches over here as well. *Being members of the team helps in personal as well as career growth.

Admission :

*I got my admission through WBJEE so I sat in counselling and got my college through it. *I rejected some colleges as this had a good rating and was far off the main city which makes it peaceful and away from hussle bussle. Also the course that I got was available here as well. *People can take admission through WBJEE/JEE counselling or through direct admission but for the direct admission there are limited courses that are offered.

Faculty :

* Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 and they are pretty approcahable as students can visit their cabin whenever teachers are available and ask them, their doubts. *I am in 2nd yr. and the faculty of Digital Electronics and Microprocessor whose name is Pinaki Sir is the one that I like the most. * There is no such teacher that I didn' like. * There are three CO (Course Outcome) exams that consists of 30% internal that happens every month and then there is 70% that is Sem. exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
