Course Curriculum Overview :

i dont thik that the curriuculum is relevent for job finders speceficly first year, they teach us ethics and morals which arent even in job interview. but from 2nd year the subjects are good and relevent.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

almost 85% students get internships from this college whether it be paid or non paid. they have to work on projects in these companies and they will provide certificates after the completition of the period.

Placement Experience :

from 3 rd year students can seat in placements. cognigant,accenture,haldia petrochemicals are the frequent recruters. this year highest on campus placement was 13 lpa and off campus it was 33 lpa. almost 70% students got placed. i will also go for placement after my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees of this college is generally 1,40,000.(without hostel) Tuition fees is 60,500 per semester. and the caution,regestration,developement is 1500,500,8000 rs respectively. Batchmates all are quiet friendly, most of them are from west bengal and bihar, jharkhand and talented as well. fees for all students are same, no less for sc,st,obc you can avail SVMCM scholarship from where you will get 600000 rs per sem. (6.5 cgpa should be maintained)

Campus Life :

Cultural fest, tech fest,deparmental fests there are many a thigs to enjoy. our library is hug and have certain amount of books for readers. there are sports club,chess club,drama club,coding club,photography club. many seniors run these organizations.

Admission :

i choose this college cause its one of the best private colleges in west bengal, and its also loacted in a industrial place. through my wbjee rank i wasnt getting any govt college so i have to choose this. you have to qualify wbbjee exam with a certain rank and also have to score good marks in your boards exam

Faculty :

A teacher controls 75 students at a time, and there is also 3 mentors to guide us. i liked our IT department ma'am very much, she is a perfect example of beauty with brain. i dont like our maths sir. there are class tests in every 2 months. and inernals before semester exams.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
