Faculty members are very helpful and guide you completely in overall educational growth.the ways of teaching is understandable

Course Curriculum Overview :

In 1st year there are vast amount of extra subjects which we already studied in past so this works as a quick revision And from 2nd year core subjects and some interview cracking subjects are there in communication like values and ethics,professional communication,team presentation, group discussion, technical interview like things

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 600325 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many intership of college is provided and we are privileged with this Multi national company intership are provided with proper technical training project and certification is done We can add these into our CV s too

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year students become eligible for placement Accenture, Capgemini,Tcs,IBM etc Highest package of apprx 27 lpa 80 % students getting placed Do a well stable it job and after that i will decide forward

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In time of admission i paid 78800 rs For second semester i paid 60900 rs Total fee for the course was 470900 but later it increased and it was 600325 and we got some college scholarships and final amount in total we have to pay 521225 rs For West Bengal board there is svmcm scholarship and for others national scholarship

Campus Life :

Hackathon kritanj the tech fest Navodaya - yhe cultural fest Nit lit -the literal community events Many festivals programme of our country like dandiya,sarodatsava,Holi etc National sports day celebration in games like football cricket,for gamers online games, inter college sports competition

Admission :

I chose the college because infrastructure is very good,less distant from my home, fees was less compared to other private colleges,past year students recommended this college highly so i didn't doubt and got admission in the college and i had proper rank so i didn't face any adversities

Faculty :

Faculty members are very helpful and guide completely to gain knowledge and reach our goals Class quality is very good so we don't face any difficulty in time of exams and no confusion there what to study or not because every thing is demonstrated clearly in class

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
