Course Curriculum Overview :

The placement and the exposure attracted me for choosing this college. We have trainings in our college. Internships are also provided. There are classes to help students for the real world applications. There should be more teachers in our faculty members. Exams are conducted for 3 hours.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 154875 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Accenture, TCS , Wipro offers internships to the students of our college and get stipend. They are taken to industrial visits and are made practically clear to the world. Internship offers are very nice.

Placement Experience :

Placements are quite good in our college. Accenture, TCS, cognizant and many other visits to our colleges. Even ISRO visited our college. Almost 83% of students are placed according to the data. Highest package is 27lpa and average package is 5 lpa. I plan to give GATE exams after my degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid a sum of ?154875 for the first year of my college and a sum of ?72000 for my 1st year hostel fees. A caution fee of ?10000 has been provided by us. There is no extra charges for labs. Other batchmates have almost same amount of fees. College provide a good amount of scolorship for the merit students.

Campus Life :

The annual fests like KRITANJ and NAVODAYA are conducted. There are so many sports events in our college . Many clubs like dance, singing, art and design, public speaking, coding etc are present. Books and journals are easily accessible. Infrastructure is so good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is also quite good. Food is not so good but overall everything is fine with the hostel. Staffs , warden and everyone is just so helpful and present whenever you need. Hostel is quite affordable. It's basically 6000 per month that's quite affordable.

Hostel Fee : INR 72000 per year

Admission :

I applied for KIIT but due to some personal reasons i couldn't go to Bhubaneswar so in kolkata narula is one of the best colleges . I didn't get rejected but i didn't proceeded to go there. Admission process is just like the other colleges eligibility is more than 45% in 12th + JEE + WBJEE. WBJEE is the most preferred exams.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is good enough. Faculty members are very much approachable. They help us anytime we ask. All the faculty members are very good but i personally like our CSE faculty members. Personally i like all of them. There are two semester exams in a year and 2 slot tests ebery semester. Approx 6% of the total fail to clear the exams. The course is very relevant.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
