Course Curriculum Overview :

The course for computer science is very updated and advanced. Teachers always use modern method for learning. College conduct 4 internals exams in each semester and internal viva taken in each lab class

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 600000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have to pay 600000 for r years course of B tech in computer science. We are provided with a swami vivekananda scholarship worth sixty thousand per year. But this is Only for students belonging to West Bengal

Campus Life :

The college organise two fest every year. One technical fest is known as kritanj and other cultural fest is known as navodya. They also Organise freshers party for the first year student and a small code fest for 3rd year students

Admission :

I chose this college due to the return of investment is really great in thus college And I also get a good branch in this college with a low rank. We can get into this college through wbjee counselling.

Faculty :

Faculty member are so experienced and helping. There are 3 teachers for every 50 students. The course curriculum is based on modern methods of technology. And the course syllabus is always completed on time

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
