The encouragement and support that is available for Sports.
Some of the teachers are very good at teaching

Ground where we practice was not very good
Lot of unused land inside the campus where better infrastructure could've come up

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the things I found boring and irrelevant, but I don't think have the right to judge, because after graduation, I've never worked in the IT industry, so idk if what I've studied was useful or not

Class Size : 36Course Fees : INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There was no stipend, we had to pay the company and do the work. I think the company was Aztec, enmaz and a few other. I did my project on online movie ticket reservation, similar to book my show and got a good grade for it.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible to attend placements in 7th semester. Many companies like Wipro, Aztec, infosys, Mindtree, etc had come. The package used to vary from 250000 to 2400000 per annum. Around 75-85% of the students got placed in reality, but the college claims that 100% placement

Fees and Financial Aid :

It was 3 lakh per annum when I joined and they increased it every year by a small percentage and I don't think all these courses are very affordable unless you are excellent in studies and have a scholarship.

Campus Life :

College Fest Anubhav in even semesters and we had parichay in odd semesters. The library was really good, everything relevant to the topic, we could find. Everything else you've asked about was also top notch

Admission :

My dad got a lot of good feedback about this college, so he didn't apply anywhere else and he put me here. Since my class 12 result was not upto my parents expectation, they didn't apply in a lot of colleges. The cut off I'm not sure, but if you get good cet ranking, you can get in easily.

Faculty :

I think the faculty to student ratio is perfect and this allows teachers to give attention to each of their students. Printed notes are available by each teacher in the college xerox shop. So overall, total failures were also less only.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
