Course Curriculum Overview :

For knowledge and for learning skills, the course is framed in a manner that will enforce students to get indulge into new skills required for modern jobs. Teaching methods are comprehensive in nature as it calls interaction of many students together to build a project.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 600075 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Microsoft are some good companies that provide us some internship offers. More over good amount of various startups comes to our college to take students just for letting them to get a good experience in work culture.

Placement Experience :

Placement offers are decent into our college and the placement cell's faculty are hardworking and friendly in nature, they will make you prepare for different prospectives, such as placement, interview and often help for GATE preparation. Overall 85% of students are placed in a good company with a good amount of placement offers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the college is reasonable than any other colleges of its competitors. The fees structure for our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY department is around 6lakh.....at the time of admission you have to pay for the 1st semester then your course starts... simultaneously after giving sem exam ...you have to pay for 2nd semester according to the Fees Structure.

Campus Life :

College infrastructure, college life experience, faculty members, friend circle, social life and club formats, all of these are major highlights of our college. Many different organisations comes to our college for promotion and they conduct various internship works . Clubs enchances the hobbies of many students and provides a wide range of choice which combines a whole interactive environment.

Admission :

I took admission in these college as per my convenience. The location, the faculty, the placement offers and everything are fascinating that it made me choose this college at first prior. Digging into the coding culture that depends on the friend circle you are into.

Faculty :

Faculty are good on an average, they are maintaining the bonding strong makes concepts crystal clear. Exams are taken on time and students have to study on time and marks are given on students performance.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

From seventh semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are like TCS, Cognizant, infosys, mindtree and many others. The avg pkg is 6 lpa and highest is 12 lpa. 90 percent students gets placed.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
