Course Curriculum Overview :

I took Law ( Ballb) because i keep a lot of interest in Law and I want to provide justice to people, and I always wanted to be an advocate because of respect I see for advocates in our society and how they help delivering justice. My course is Ba.LLB need no other improvement as we have the proper balance of subjects in every semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We pay 146000 per year, my course is a 5 yrs long course. I have not opt for a hostel facility but my batch mates pay 160000 only for a hostel for a year. i have got a scholarship during admission and it was for 25000 . No other ways of scholarship was provided to me

Campus Life :

In my college we have one Feast named "Adivona" it happends every year once. other than our college feast we also celebrate Durga puja, Saraswati puja, Ramzan, Christmas, Winter feast , etc. In my collage we organise sports events which includes tournaments. We also have social groups like drama club, music club, tech club , etc.

Admission :

I was a CLAT aspirant, but due to covid situation, it was not possible for me or my family to send me to another state. In my state ( West Bengal) Adamas University was well known for its LLB department and so I never tried any other university. I took my admission for LLB through online registration due to covid. We needed to have above 75% for admission as well as scholarship.

Faculty :

In our Law building we have around 15 faculties who are appointed with their specified subject to teach . In my collage we have a good and friendly relationship with our facilities . They are very supportive and understanding . In a semester (6months) we have an exam per semester which contains 50marks and the rest of the 50marks are divided into class test , projects , case studies , vivas , attendance , etc . Our exams are medium to hard type .

Course Curriculum Overview:

•when I was a child my dream was to be a lawyer because only lawyers can protect anybody from legal risk • I feel that I can prepare myself or the study • there should be a specific book related to Calcutta University BA LLB 5 year course syllabus because there are many books in the market that are not matching with the syllabus • they say that the timing of exam from end of semester is 6 months but we get only for to 5 months to study the subjects of a semester so for the even semester it is difficult to us to study

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked literature since I was in class 9, so I did go ahead with the subject English which was my favourite I loved poetry, poems, novels and stories and dramas too. To score good marks in the exam it was too difficult, we get good marks even if we write correct or . answers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to study a professional course and was interested in Political Science and Sociology. So, law was the best option for me. St. Xavier's University, Kolkata provides you with the education you need to excel in the field of law. The ratio is around 8:55. For example, some subjects are taken by two professors and some are taken by a single professor. Our faculties are highly qualified, most of them having a Ph.D. degree from reputed Universities like National Law University, Delhi, National Law UNiversity, Hyderabad, and the West Bengal University of Juridical Science. They explain the concepts very well and they are also available beyond class hours to clarify a student's doubts. They are also willing to assist students with respect to internships and other opportunities. The Semester exams are difficult. If you think you'll study one night and pass, you're so wrong! These exams actually test your merit so you've got to be very proficient with the subject to score well.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for campus placement from our final semester. Over 200 companies visit the University which ends in more than 95% of students getting placed with an average package ranging around 6 LPA. Many reputed companies like Amazon, Virtusa, HCL, TCS, Deloitte, etc. conduct interviews to offer us jobs in their organization. The law students from our department are also offered placements in several big companies that have a separate legal department. Many of my seniors already got their placements and I plan to earn a similar job too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course and at that time court life interested me tremendously. Its not college but rather school of LAW i.e. law is taught to the students as if they are learning for the first time. There were many experienced teachers who taught us not only law but other various lessons which shaped us to be better than ourselves. However very recently entire teaching faculty has changed and due to covid protocol, proper interaction with our teachers is very much lacking.
