I choose mechanical engineering courrse cause of here advantages in mechanical is so good like happening aero MECH club team vidyut etc are most enjoyable Sometime teachers speaks in Bengali then some bihari and other states are face the difficulties Almost 6 months for semester

Here specially enjoyed in Holi festival Maybe March Hare are almost lakhs books in library Every classroom has almost 10 fan and 1 projector in Avery department Here all sports will happens cricket, football, volley ball, badminton, etc

In 1 room 4 bed for ecah student's have 1 bed and one table , wifi , drinking water, pillow , charger point Led bulb almost 3 Meal quality is moderate not too much good and not too much low 2000 registration fee Near Balaji boys' hostel Gandhi nagar

Admission :

No any other colleges I applied for engineering. My admission got directly through the management kota By one student of haldia By the way cutoff for exam in mechanical is 59009 rank in wbjee. Admission experience is good

Faculty :

Faculty ratio is 1:5 Almost faculties are good and humble and some are not humble We approach him on classroom call, WhatsApp Faculty I liked the most he is material science prof. So humble and explained the each and Avery term One faculty his name is santanu Mishra He is so obsessed on bite irritating Total 3 class test and 1 semester in 6 months paper is like moderate and little bit tough

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
