Likes
- I like the campus facilities of this college, it has three libraries which are department library, college library, University library
- I like the way how seniors interact with juniors.
Dislikes
- I dislike the way of evaluation of exam papers
- Faculty don't teach everything. We should study by ourselves
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen integrated course in which we can complete mtech in 5 years. There will be many projects in the curriculum so that we can learn. I think teachers should provide more idea or knowledge to the students
Internships Opportunities :
Companies like Google, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, etc do visit our campus for placements. Internships will be offered by start-up companies mostly but we can apply internships outside the campus. So, I advise to search for the internships outside the campus.
Placement Experience :
For regular course students are eligible for campus placements after 5th semester. For ece, both core related and software related companies will visit. The highest package is 67lpa I guess. Students should get >85%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 65,000 rupees per annum. My friend pays 1,00,000 rupees as her father is a government employee. There will be a scholarship which I have got from the government as my father earns less than 2 lakhs per annum. The amount received as scholarship is 35,000
Campus Life :
There will be only two fests per year which are freshers and tech fest. Tech fest will be in April. All types of books will be available in the university library and there is also department library per each course in which our course books are available. There are dance club, singing club, arts club and etc in jntu
Admission :
I applied other colleges after jntu. I chose jntu first because I think jntu is the best university in Telangana. It provides many facilities. We have to get good rank in eamcet examination. We should get <3k to get admission in regular course and <10k to get admission in integrated course
Faculty :
Faculty are very much approachable. Faculty are very aggressive most of the times but some of them are nice There will be two mid exams and one end semester exam but 60% of the students fail atleast one exam
Other Applied Colleges
Osmania University - [OU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Chemical Engineering)
I think jntu is better than ou because jntu has more placements than ou
