Some trend is also ab served in an internship wherein students have been sent for an internship in best hospitals.

We have several events happening throughout the year wherein we get a chance to meet the department head of hospitals as well as the doctors and eminent optometrists from reputed hospitals of the country. This one in the form of seminars and conferences wherein faculties also present scientific papers which are review. Apart from this, there are many cultural programs which are organized by dept of optometry wherein we get a chance to meet the members of our alumni and get a hands-on experience about the industrial field also.

The fee structure of college in quite reasonable and it is inclusive of the lab works and expenses for internship as well as project works. Approximate the course fee for the first year in INR 60,000 which includes the ab served facilities as well as college tuition fees and library charges. The library and the labs are quietly addicted to meet the requirements of our study and hence no extra expenses are incurred in this regard.

0The dept. of optometry provides us the scope to meet our alumni a couple of time during the academic year. This provides us a platform to interact and build a network which on a later stage helps us in better job placements. Brainware University promises an outstanding 98.8% successful placement rate which is truly mesmerizing. Even if that 2% failed to gain placement from university, they made themselve worthy enough after completing the course, that they can get themselves posted in any field of work they feel suitable of just because of the high standard education of the university. No one have to worry about placement once they pass out from the university. Rather our university provides higher educations life masters also to make their placement standards higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is Makaut affiliated so the course curriculum is entriely based on MAKAUT University. I always wanted to do or pursue something where mainly the laboratory is involved and chemistry and biology is my favourites, so this BMLT course is absolutely suitable for me. The curriculum prepares us on a practical level, we've practicals that our faculty teaches us in dedicated laboratories. This BMLT course has different subjects like biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, haematology, anatomy and physiology etc and also minor is computer, which is necessary in today's world. There are side subjects too which are essential for knowledge and development. I think the syllabus can be more latest otherwise everything is good. Examination takes place in semesters, two semester completes 1yr. Mainly time of exams are December/January and June. Difficultly of examination is okay, not to wasy, not too hard, one have to study well to pass and secure good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a student of Bsc Operation Theatre Technology. In this type of courses practical knowledge is very much valuable. In that sense, we get access to OT, Ward, ICU,CCU from the beginning of our study. Though we have to work hard everyday, we gain a lot of practical knowledges and experiences.

From the 6th semester in our stream of BSCMLT students become eligible for campus placements. Average package of salary is from 10k per month to 12k per month. More than 90% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue MSC.

Placement Experience:

For Bsc. In mlt there is no campus placement option available. However after 5th semester the students are given a mandatory 6 months internship program in various Labrotories. This is a part of the academic curriculum. However after the 6 month internship the chances of absorption in the Labrotory is higher. Mostly all the students get absorbed somewhere or the other.
