Course Curriculum Overview :

The very first thing I like about the curriculum is it offers a huge exposure. It focuses on creativity and innovation. Each and every subject is providing ample amount of knowledge and experience. The curriculum is designed in such a way so that we will able present and market ourselves in the present scenario.

Placement Experience :

I m a 3rd-year student. I will be placed after one year. The faculties are helping in terms of thinking for our future goals. The college provides internships on the large scale groups.

College Events :

The college celebrates cultural fest named 'CULT' every year in the month of February. It organizes various activities and competition and engages large no. of audiences. This is the time when students from other colleges can also come and hang around. CULT 2019 was embraced by singer Asees Kaur with her magical voice. The university also celebrates festivals likes Holi, Diwali, Garba every year with joy.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

the tuition fee for Foundation year = Rs. 1,48,000 tuition fee of B. des(fashion) = Rs. 1,48,000 it includes all the expenses expect and stationary and tools which ranges from pencil to fabric sourcing to final product. the fee structure is really comfortable for all.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. I haven't applied for it yet, as the University fee is really comfortable for all. The one who outstanding in good scoring will scholarship.

Campus Life :

The ratio of girls is higher than boys. It diversified by students from various different regions. still, we have unity in Diversity her. We host exhibitions and showcase our work and fashion collection. The fashion department is getting really good exposure in terms of their skill and creativity.

Hostel Facilities :

Foundation year=Rs. 75,000 2nd year= Rs. 1,05,000 3rd year= Rs. 1,25,000 The hostel facilities and food are appreciable. All the complaints are resolved within a few minutes. The quality and ingredients for food are fresh. the medical services are provided on time.

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

As we are the first batch of WUD. so we don't have any senior relationships. We are organizing a very single thing here.

Admission :

I was preparing for NIFT at Academy of Fashion and Art. I passed my first entrance there but didn't get selected for the final. Then, one of my friend from AFA told me about the World University of Design. I consulted it with my mentor Mr. Shreekant. Then, I gave my interview in the month of June WUD and got selected. After doing all the formalities and paperwork, I got admission in the college

Faculty :

The faculty pushes the student to explore the space. It is not only about giving assignments and taking submissions. They interact with us, listen to our perspective. We can share our thoughts and problems with them. As I am a fashion design student, I really admire my dean, Mr. Devendra Kharb. He always supports me and guides in the right direction.

University has a hundred percent placement record. Assistance is given to students who wish to pursue higher education.
