Course Curriculum Overview :

I took the department (IOT) which is studied about sensors and it is somewhat easy than Ai and Robotics.we are planning to do a project which helps fisherman to catch the fish without any human need and it uses the techniquesto catch the fish and only one sensor will do all these things

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 275000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly I am paying 275000 for course fees and the fees in first year is more than the remaining years,yes they provide scholarship for the merit students more than 35000 and the management will provide scholarship for the students who get good score in entrance exam.

Campus Life :

I have participated in many festivals and games conducted by our college. They conduct sports meet and cultural activities who are much more interested in that.they also encourage us to go out and explore many more fields in which we are interested

Admission :

I have choosen sathyabama institute of science and technology because of the discipline of the college is nice and everyone should maintain proper dresscode.they provide nice and healthy food for the staff and students

Faculty :

Management and staff are so friendly and they will be strict according to the studies and exams. They conduct two mids and one assignment and one quiz for each mid which helps to increase our internal marks.they add these marks to the sem marks.they send pdf and explain the topics which helps students to understand easily

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
