- One thing I like about CBIT is the ortunities it gives and the infrastructure, if one utilises the given opportunities properly he or she can excel.
- The clubs here are really active so u get chances for social interaction and can improve your skills and overcome your fears
Dislikes
- Idk what happened but the college has gone down in recent years, there are so many aspects
- I feel like they rush the syllabus and complete the sem faster than usual
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum that they provide is nice but what I felt was that the core students should also have a little bit touch with the IT side so maybe adding that to the curriculum would be nice? I mean I have no complaints with the curriculum except that
Internships Opportunities :
Projects haven't started for me since iam still in third year, Projects start in 4th year, i personally went and did internship on my own outside the college but college provides internships And supports us if we get an internship outside the college too.
Placement Experience :
The placements start from 3rd year second sem which is the 6th sem and most of the students get placed every year more than 87% students get placed and the highest package this year was 59LPA in CSE and the placements are still going on , a lot of famous companies visit our college during placements like Amazon, oracle etc. Students opt for masters after the degree personally I would like to work after my degree, and then do masters in the future and the highest placed in civil was 14 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Okay so they increased the fee this year when I first started here the fees was 1,35,000 and I get a fee reimbursement of 35,000 from the government as per the reservation so I used to pay 1,05,000, they increased the fee this year so now the total has changed to 1,65,000 I still have my reimbursement of 35,000 so I now pay 1,35,000 and there's 5,500 extra as miscellaneous fee so combining that the total amount I'll have to pay will be 1,40,500.
Campus Life :
There's one technical fest and cultural fest every year technical fest is known as sudhee and cultural fest is known as Shruthi, they are celebrated very grandly, the college looks very colorful during that time, the library in cbit is known for being the biggest library for a btech college, there are vast varities of books ranging from online to offline, student can get a book anytime with easy access, the clubs here are active there are vast variety of clubs and students can join any club according to their interest of choice, Any student can get access to the sports block, there's a gym in the campus too, badminton court, basket ball court, cricket ground, football ground, table tennis court and carrom and chess area to play and compete.
Admission :
This college is one of the best college in Hyderabad in Telangana, I wrote EAMCET and I applied to couple of other colleges along with this, I didn't get this college in my first counseling, I first got MGIT then I put again to see what are the odds and then I landed upon CBIT and I thought I couldn't ask for a better college and yes that's how I got here. There's two ways through which u can take admission one is A category and B category, A category is through EAMCET, they look at ur rank which u got in eamcet and select u according to the cutoff they provided that year and B category is through JEE rank
Faculty :
The Faculty here is really experienced and give us an opportunity to express ourself. As I said if one utilises the opportunities given they can excel. Faculty is pretty much considerate towards students and students can have one on one conversation with them and ask them for help anytime, Iam from civil department, all the faculty here is experienced most of them are doctrates who studied from prestigious universities and are experienced in their given fields, one thing about btech life is u feel like u always have exams so there's one main sem end and 2 mids and 3 slip tests and 2 internals with 1 external. Course curriculum is very relevant and more than 50% students clear the exams
