- The faculty are well experienced and professional they have good connections with the industry people so they help us grow professionally . alumni who are in a good position also come and meet the students and give valuable suggestions and lectures.
- we have sufficient equipment in the lab to carry out the experiments.
Dislikes
- Core companies visit our college less as compared to the software .
- During fests and college events the students has to manage all the costs the college will not provide all the expenses required.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was good and relevant . few subjects like VLSI are really helpful and make us industry ready and also for the higher studies if we want to pursue Mtech or ME . But few subjects i feel are outdated and need to be updated in the curriculum like IOT etc. The mid exams were conducted by maintaining around 2 months gap in between them and the semester exam will be conducted after not more 1 month when mid2 was held with moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
In the 6th semester we are supposed to undergo a 6week summer internship. which is mostly unpaid the college faculty will provide some references to do internships but mostly we only have to search for the internships online or offline . In the 7th semester most of the companies visit the campus to provide paid internships like moschip , Mathworks, Unistring , ICS global, Tejas networks which will be paying around 15000-20000 per month . and which can be converted into a fulltime job if we perform well during the internship or training.
Placement Experience :
The college had an active placement and training cell . they invite many companies like infosys, Accenture, genpact , Moschip, unistring, Zoicx, Ics global, Tejas networks , Mathworks etc. each companies intake is around 2-8 people it can vary according to companies need. The students are eligible for the college placements from the end of 6th semester . The highest package offered was 18lpa from the company named Gevernova . and the average package is around 5-6lpa . Almost 60% of the students will be getting placed in various fields . After getting degree my plan is to do a job in the core company . many of the students also choose to pursue thier Mtech or going abroad and study.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If your rank is below 1000 in the ecet there will be no fee . otherwise you have to pay around 50000 per year . the fees will be increased every year. you have pay 10000 as the college admission fee . and later you have to pay around 500 for library. if we are staying in hostel we have to pay the mess fee which is around 1500 every month . we will get epass scholarship also if we are eligible .
Campus Life :
Our department conducts a technical fest every year with the name akruthi. in which all the students are encouraged to showcase their innovations and projects. this fest is generally held in the month of may. The library had large number of books and journals we can find all the references in the library itself . The classrooms are spacious and provided with the projector and all the teachers mostly adopt smart teaching. Our college had an active sports club , Music club , IEEE commitiees ,SAE commitees , especially ECE department is associated with the clubs called IETE and EC so our college provides all the required support for the technical and also extracurricular activities.these all clubs are run by the students by having a faculty advisor for each club and commitee.
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in the campus hostel which is very much affordable . the room is spacious but nearly 8 people stay in one room . all the facilities like good food , fresh drinking water , internet etc were provided . the meals are hygenic and the menu is decided based on the students decision. For being in the hostel your home must be far away from the college and must provide all the required documents and need to pay 10000 rupees for the hostel admission which is different from monthly mess fee. the students are free to go out of the hostel but with a certain time limits and the parents can also visit the but others are not allowed inside the hostels.we have study halls for every floor where we can study peacefully.
Admission :
I have cleared the ecet exam with a good rank and I have choosen my college as my first option as this college is well-known for its quality of education and is one of the best colleges in the state with very good alumni. fortunately, i have got a seat in this college and I faced no rejections. im happy and I have no regrets about my decision. I have chosen jntuh as my second priority because it is also well-known government college but has less exposure to external things compared to our college. in our college we get comparatively more time can invest in learning new courses other than academics. The students can also enter with a good rank in their eamcet examination. the admission process is very simple and the faculty also cooperates with us .
Faculty :
Each class has around 70 student and no sections are there . there are sufficient teachers to teach all the subjects the ratio of faculty and students is around 1:15 .few lecturers are really good and dedicated towards teaching like the faculty of SAT and PIC . and few teachers are having good knowledge on the topic but wont teach as we expect . the exams were conducted as 2 mid term exams and a final semester exam for every semester and most of the people pass the exams .
