Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose Machanical engineering as it was core branch and love to play with machine. But present curriculum of RTU is not as per industry norms. The course curriculum should be updated as per current industries and technologies and the teaching faculties should be trained in the same manner. The frequency of exams is semester vice and it is appropriate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees of the B.tech was ?84,000 per year (hostel fees not included). And if you got the admission through REAP and got the admission in TWS then you will be eligible for 100% scholarship (Of Tuition fees) and you have to pay just ?17,000 per year. The fees of all branches is same and there is no special scholarship for SC and ST.

Campus Life :

There used to annual and technical festivals but after my admission the CEO of our college changed and he abolished all the activities. The library of my college is very good. You can get all the curriculum related books and the books required for competitive exam. The option of digital library is also available. The classroom are fully equipped with ducting facilities and there is green board available for teaching. There was no extracurricular activity and social group or clubs during my time as the reason mentioned above.

Admission :

I applied for JECRC, SKIET and Poornima but due to the high cutoff and didn't get into those colleges so I have to take admission to this college. The admission process is very simple. Either you can apply through REAP or you can get direct admission by visiting the campus. In direct admission, you have the opportunity to negotiate the fees.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio was 50:1. The faculty whom I like was Ghanshyam Mishra. He was our HOD. He was nice and knowledgeable person. There was on faculty named Harshvardhan whom I disliked. He was man with dual-personality. There are 8 main exam and 16 mid term test in the full 4 year cours. The main exams are conducted by RTU (RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY). 20% of students faile to clear the exam in one attempt. From the industry norms we can say the course curriculum is very less relevant.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
