I like the environment of the college. Our campus is filled with trees which is a beautiful
The behaviour of our lecturers are very friendly and help us in every step.

Dislikes

Our college have a canteen which keeps closed maximum of time which I don't like .

Course Curriculum Overview :

One of the best things about our college is that our college arranges a huge number of occasions like science expo, annual functions, sports tournaments , cultural programs,and many more. This makes a good environment in the campus

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My tution is 31000 rupees per semester and 45000 rupees during addmission. I got scholarship from svmcm of 180000 rupees. For registration I paid 5300 rupees and paid 10000 rupees as caution money which is included in the course fee

Campus Life :

Our college arranges different programs like science expo, where different departments participates .our college aslo arranges different sports like cricket,chess,carrom ,football tournaments. Most of the classes ar done by smart classes .our

Admission :

If anyone wants to be addmission in our college he/she needs to be either diploma passed or shout have science in 12th. Addmission process is very easy. Normally the course fee varies from 180000-20000 depending on which course the person wants to take addmission. Because our college comes under makait board the exams are quite hard.

Faculty :

Best thing about my college is that every professer is well behaved towards the students and help everyone one in every step. They are very friendly and Frank whichbfor which we can clear our problems with ease

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
