Course Curriculum Overview :

The bachelors of pharmacy course is complete has a whole to integrate the knowledge of pharmacy field in the student. Some courses such as pharmaceutics & industrial pharmacy are also taught & prepare the student for real world industry experience. 2 sessional exams are conducted every 1 to 1½ months.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

An industrial or hospital internship is mandatory for bpharm graduates. Every student does that internship to get full knowledge of dispensing to real patients. Students also go for industrial internship to get full circle knowledge of all the equipments used in pharmaceutical field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure - General - 90000, Sc/st - 16000. Different scholarships are also available for sc/st, ews & obc classes. Odd semester fees - 34,000 (for general/ obc/ews) & 4,000 (for sc/st). Even semester fees - 56000 (for general/obc/ews) & 12,500 (for sc/st).

Campus Life :

There are many clubs such as art clubs, dance clubs, music clubs, drama clubs, and photography clubs. The books & journals available in the Library are of a good range of many publications. There are computer classrooms in Dipsar & dpsru Overall campus life is good.

Admission :

To take bpharm course, the student must be pass in pcb/pcm stream. At my time, the cutoff for general was high, i.e., 93% For obc it was 85%. All the forms will be available at the official site of dpsru. Sometimes the admission process is hectic but the staff provides adequate help

Faculty :

The teachers are all well-qualified in their respective fields. All of the Pharmacy faculty have good experience in the industrial field & have good teaching experience. Some teachers provide amazing mentorship. A mentor-mentee program is also going on.

During the 4th year, the students become eligible for campus placements. The list of companies that come in bachelor's are Sanjivani Pharmaceuticals, Wings pharmaceuticals, Root Analysis etc. The highest package offered by the company is around 3.5 lac and the average package is around 2-2.5 lac.
