  • Campus being huge takes alot of time for travelling from one department to another.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the LLB course is well-designed with a blend of theoretical and practical components. Practical components like legal aids and legal clinics prepare you for real-world applications. The level of exams is good as it challenges you to study the subjects deeply.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are normal as compared to other universities. Also, they allow to make payments in 2 or more installments if any of the students are not able to pay a wholesome amount. Scholarships are also available based on merit lists and reservations.

Campus Life :

The college arranges programs like lex infinitum and lex festivals and some other competitions too. The college has gymkhana and PE teachers to provide guidance to students interested in various sports. The college has a huge library with having variety of facilities including free wifi, computers, many monthly and weekly legal magazines, etc.

Admission :

Generally, there is an entrance test that one has to clear in order to be eligible for admission to the LLB course. Later on, there is a counseling round and the candidate has to select one of the colleges under the university. There are reservations available for SC, ST, and OBC students and also for the EWS category. Reservation is also available for other university candidates.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is a key factor in determining the quality of education. This ratio is low at university allowing for more personalized attention from faculty members. Also, faculty members with advanced degrees and extensive experience in their field bring valuable insights and knowledge to the classroom. Interacting with teachers is easy for every student. They make sure every student is paid proper attention.

Admission:

The admissions are based on an entrance exam conducted by the University. The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows :-The candidate has to secure minimum 45% at the qualifying examination at the graduation degree. For SC/ST candidates minimum 40% at the qualifying examination at the graduation degree. The candidate is required to qualify the Entrance Exam conducted by the college. The aggregate of marks scored by the candidate at the Bachelor Degree Examination in all the subjects is converted into percentage. The percentage of marks so obtained is added to the total score at the Entrance Test. This total is divided by 2. This is the effective score for ranking for admission.Admissions will be purely on merit

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good but teachers' recommendations play an inevitable role in getting jobs. Some of the top notch companies like KPMG, Boston Consulting Group do come but recruit only a few students and that too at a low package (approx.4-5 lacs).

No comments since college don't provide any of the above. The students by their own go in searching for the jobs in the company or else only option left is the practice.
