Mostly foods are Maggie you have to Eat maggie Bhaza . because Hostel foods are worst.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculam contains subjects like C language for Programming which is very Basic and good for beginners. The frequency and timing of exams is good and you dont have to worry for assignments just give it to juniors and be CAZZ

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship is provided in IOCL, haldia petrochemical. for chemical engineering student. college also organize winter training for Information Technology Field. they Provide Training to Circuital branches .

Placement Experience :

placement of college which institute shows is about 61 percent but reality is very harshed . many Students get placement of just 15K which is not accepted by a student who is undergraduated from B.Tech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is increasing Day by Day ,college Management just increase their fee structure for their infrastructure, they do not spend more on Education and teaching methods. The complete costs of Education is about 5 lakhs for 2020-2024 batch but they have been increasing per Semester fee by 5000.

Campus Life :

you will have Great College life Experience , Great Infrastructure, you will you will get opportunity to be part of Different technical and cultural club which will make your college life more interesting .

Hostel Facilities :

hostel faciliaies is average . hostels are good but the food of mess is not worthy. but you can take food for gunchil, Garden Resturant , prices are affordable. you can take Room in khudiramnagar or Gandhinagar.

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

the eligibility proces of the course is you have to just give the exam of WBJEE no matter how much rank is yours you can get your Desired Department By donating some Extra fees . No reservation for other state people

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10. college is very irresponsible Regarding Placement . and Faculty are very unsupportive . Teachers used to enjoy where students get nervous as their native language is bengali some difficulties you might face during class if you are non bengali.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
