Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum was way too outdated and many of the topics were way too out of relevance. They need to work on current scenario and current developments rather than sticking to the age old curriculum. Industries need multi dimensional individuals rather than outdated ones.

Internships Opportunities :

There is a dedicated R &D cell and campus to corporate department in college. They offer internships to companies like TVS, SL LUMAX , ZF, and also to various other companies. They also allow students to find their own internship and support.

Placement Experience :

Students from 6th semester were eligible for campus placement. Companies like Zoho Cognizant Amazon Infosys Musigma offer good packages. College has dedicated Placement Training Cell for training students to appear to various interviews. Most of the students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees was super affordable if you consider to study in a deemed university, then this college is damn cheap. They even offer scholarships for those who scored 80 percentage in class 12. They offer Mahatma Gandhi scholarship program for students. They also work with actor Suriya s Agaram Foundation for providing free education for the poor students.

Campus Life :

College has been proactive in extra curricular activities and sports They organise a huge college fest called LAVAZA for 3 days and they invite various film stars and music sensations. They also conduct inter college competitions . Sports meet also be conducted

Admission :

They have conducted entrance examination. Based on the marks the admission was differentiated phase wise. Ranks determine the fees slab they fall into. Process was super easy and they were very professional at it.

Faculty :

Most of my faculty members were highly qualified individuals. Some of them had esteemed experience in the field of engineering and many of them had first hand experience in industries. There were some people who were qualified from Prestigious institutions in and across the world. They were easily approachable and friendly.

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
