Likes

The teachers are qualified and are good with teaching
The college starts early and ends by afternoon giving students more time for their other activities or classes to pursue

Dislikes

The campus is really small so there isn't much to do
There are no fests, or any ethnic days that the college conducts

Course Curriculum Overview :

I started my BA in 2023 it was the first NEP batch so the curriculum was offcourse different and since the college is autonoms it decides its own curriculum Our hod made sure to include all the topics and subjects that is important for a psychology major to know about about the general subjects the curriculum is decided by the college itself

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 21000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The non grant fee is around 21000 For grant students the fee would be around 9000 I am not sure about the scholarships but they definitely must be there, there is also financial aid There is a earn and learn scheme for people with financial issues

Campus Life :

Honestly, the campus is small and there aren't many activities that's there, we have arts circle and some small other groups like modern college green club there are just the department buildings parking and a canteen

Admission :

I took up BA psychology so there was no admission or entrance exams the admission process was also quite simple The required documents should be submitted in the college and you need to pay the fees other than that there was nothing So it's a very simple process

Faculty :

The number of students depends on the branch you have chosen for psychology in my class there is almost 40-50 students The teachers are qualified the hod is also qualified there are different teachers for different subjects although sometimes a same teacher can teach different subjects too In my specialization (psychology) all the teachers are really great they are friendly qualified and help with doubts and overall the psych faculty is really good

College life of RTMNU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college curriculum is great it is set well but not that great. It gives the basic knowledge of everything related to the subject and that helps me in further studies and my job in the future. But it needs of improvement cause it's not really set perfectly cause the 4th sem syllabus is needed in the 3rd sem cause it is based on each other. The exam timing is worst in our college it comes like a surprise without anyone's expectations. The syllabus is not even complete half the exam cones.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing B.A. is always a good choice, I choose this course because it was also available in an away study method. Ycmou have study centers. So, we have recorded lectures of a really good faculty and students no. Changes in each study center. All faculty teaches online only with presentations and book reading methods. There are yearly exams only containing theory and practical exams. They are very easy to pass.

A Day to remember

Remarks:

I choosen this Idol University because I have to prepare for upsc and I wanted a hassle free college life so I can focus on my upsc syllabus and surely it worked. Course which was offered in the university was even helpful and easy to read. I haven't read any blog while selecting this college I just watched some upsc toppers interview and finally I made decision to get admitted in idol where I can save plenty of time to accelerate my upsc preparation and I am happy because my plan worked.

Placement Experience:

Placements start coming in the college campus when student reach in 5th sem of their course many of them use to being an internship with good stipend and experience certificate. Talking about the package minimum 2.5 lakh rupees to maximum 4.5 lakh per annum a student can get in the college campus.
