Best Year's of my life

Dislikes

  • They provide very good guidance to everyone..also if any student would like to ask personally any lecturer guide him her

Course Curriculum Overview :

I will rate course curriculum a 8 on 10.. it is because now I am in 3 year...And my course is bachelor's in Multimedia and Mass communication..In which we have specialisation in 3rd year... That means we need to choose between Journalism and Advertising in the last year...so in 1st and 2nd year we eventually come to know that what's our exact interest... people here is very helpful in terms of guidance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In bachelor's in Multimedia and Mass communication their is semester pattern. Each year contains 2 semester..So this is convenient to pay the fees accordingly.. Like we don't need to pay the fees at a time.. it's like in the year we need to pay 2 installments..for 1st semester exam and for 2nd semester exam...Also EWS are applicable here.

Campus Life :

Overall I will say my college life is very nice..I have a very good bonding with my batchmates, friends teachers, piuns etc...We have many different types of clubs in our college.. Like boxing club,NCC club, sports club etc...My experience is very very nice...My social life in college is also very nice...I felt really good when I am in college...

Admission :

This college admission process is very simple... they give admission according to the merit list...means depending upon the percentage that you get in your 12th..And after that when your selection is done the management will call you immediately for the sake of admission...

Faculty :

We interact with teachers daily..We have good bonding with teachers and we study as well as talk about daily life in college...All the faculty people is very nice...Also they guide us throughout. Also evetime they are ready to give answers of our questions.

Placement Experience:

Everyone who is studying at UPG is eligible for campus placements. They provide internship and job offers too. The highest package I think was 17 lakhs and the average is around 8 lakhs which is quite good for a fresher. However, many students don't sit for the placements as they go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From the end of sixth semester students became eligible for campus placements. Almost every candidate gets placed through a placement cell. Top recruiting companies of our college are Kotak Mahindra, Black Motion, Tata Consultant and renowned companies like that. The top roles offered to the students are a brand associate manager, digital marketer and trainee. In this time of the pandemic, we have got placed in companies like Aditya Birla Capital. The highest package from a company is 6 LPA and the average package from a company is 2 LPA. 11 percentage of students get placement from every batch. Works in the corporate where has a uniquely diverse place environment.

Placement Experience:

The placements offers are shared with the students and they can opt for them according to their interests. The curriculum covers all the practical and theoretical knowledge which helps the students to be ready for the work environment. I am currently working as a Content Creator and I got this job because of my college's placement cell.

Placement Experience:

As soon as you are about 18 the student becomes eligible for campus placement. Top Companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Teleperformance etc. Do come for placements drive. There is no particular package it completely depends on the student profile. The percentage of students getting hired or getting placed is approx 80%. My plans after getting the degree are to do a mastered course of my particular subject so that after getting 3 degrees I can be placed at a good company.

Remarks:

The atmosphere, the legacy, the faculty and the extra curriculars. I come from generations of xavierietes so I wanted to be a part of the tradition and it was totally worth it. I also heard a lot about the inclusivity on campus and the diversity of the crowd and after being here for a little over 4 years I can say that it lived up to all my expectations and then some.

Remarks:

My experience with my college is extremely satisfying. Every single aspect contributed in this satisfaction including teacher staff, infrastructure, facilities they provide, principals and of course my friends which i met in college. The only thing which can be improved is admission criteria there should be more cut off for it, as they offer really more than education, everything. So competition in students should be increased for admission.
