The current administrator is very bad..lifts are there.. but they are not working

Entrance Preview :

This college is one of the best self-financial College. Patients strength is higher as compared to other self-financial College. teaching quality is very good. no ragging.. hospitality of college is very great.. good infrastructure.. have a great library

Course Curriculum Overview :

Kuhs is the one of the best University in Kerala, all medical fields are now under kuhs.. it has website www.kuhs.com in there we can find our course syllabus & previous questions exam pattern etc. All University notification publish on this website.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes.. as our completion, of course, we need to take our internship from our institute. it's mandatory.. general stipend is currently 3500?/month .. overall expenses about 5000/month

Placement Experience :

There is no place for dentistry.. as increased clinic's & dentist currently facing a huge problem in opportunities.. we have to find it or create it. Currently, in Kerala, so many dentists are passed out from Kerala & outside Kerala.. lack of placement &job opportunities lead to getting the least salary

College Events :

Celebrations are created by unions.. every year part1 have opportunities to do cultural or any programs.. currently one day in every week there will have programs.. management will give fund for big events like a festival, Onam celebrations, X-Mas, college day

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Currently, fees structure are determined by cee. Rs.2.5 lakh fee for BDS at Self-financing colleges. For NRI quota which comprises 15 pc of the total seats, the fees were fixed at Rs. 6 lakh. Thiruvananthapuram: The fee for BDS course at private self-financing dental colleges in Kerala was today fixed at Rs.2.5 lakh for the new academic year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MOMA Scholarship, government fees concession, Bank loan facility are available.. in that sense college is the very helpful..no cue for any kind of loan availability

Campus Life :

Every Bach have 100 students intake.. there only maximum 20% boy's only.. labs are very well maintained..many sports activities are here..also sports room for chess, carms, table tennis etc.. also vacant room for dance practice. there are evening classes for other extracurricular activities

Hostel Facilities :

Excellent hostel facilities are provided separately to boys and girls within or very close to a college campus with ample recreational facilities..we need pay 8000/year.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are very helpful in academic purposes..also postgraduate students also help us very much

Exam Structure :

An exam was conducted by kuhs.. camera will monitor our exam.. there will be one external during exam..we have to enter hall 30min before questions are out..exams and lab work sometimes leaving with hectic day..we need 50% for theory & practical separately.

Admission :

Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala is the counseling conducting authority for Kerala BDS admissions. CEE is taking admission to MBBS and BDS courses through online counseling, on the basis of NEET UG score of the candidates. The option of choice filling was available. The final state merit list has also been released. !

Faculty :

Here we have a principal, vice principal, administrator, students staff of in charge, college chair man etc.. we can ask any doubt about academic in any concerned staff even HOD, associate professor, or professor's..they will clarify... If we take a leave up to 3days we need to take permission from staff in charge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why i chose this course was because of this course is the medical field in where we can show our artistic skill and talent. The students who opt this course must be interested in artistic activity because here the practical is equally important as theory. As a girl i choose this course coz this profession does not work for overttime in a clinic. We have scheduled time for our work! So we have a balance between our family and work life. As a Indian student opting this course by thinking to get a well salary job is false! The salary for a newly graduated doctor will be not as our expectation takind all this into our mind we can opt for this course. The difficulty level will be but harder than we thought coz we have to work hard for practical and theory simultaneously

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS though considered as a simple course,it's not.It requires hand skills along with intellectual knowledge and a good outspolen personality.All these qualities combined together makes you a better dentist.The curriculum provides intellectual knowledge along with improvement in hand skills while staff teaches how to have a good spoken personality. I strongly believe that the curriculum do have its own fault and they should incorporate more about forensic odontology and other aspects of the same.Exams are conducted yearly and its level is quite hard.Year backs are present in the curriculum which is quite disheartening. However work-life balance will be present along with financial stability

Wonderful experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our bds curriculum is too systamatically divised and followed in the college. It covers most of the clinical as well as theoretical aspects of the subject which prepares us for the real challenges. And when it comes to the exams it is moderately difficult. 3 exams will be there including the models conducted 1 and half months apart which is followed by a final university exam regulated by kuhs. But i would suggest to improve the current curriculum in order to include modern advancements in our field which definitely can't be achieved through teaching using primitive ways like presentations etc.
