KMCT dental college provide the students with the best facilities and provide students with the best opportunities and exposure required.
The staff and other non teaching staffs are very supportive and approachable.

Nothing in particular apart from some difficulty I faces to adjust to a new environment in the beginning of the course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They complete the portions in time. They conduct module examinations after every chapter and help us with the difficult areas so that during University exams and internal assessment exams we get to perform better. One suggestion is to conduct 2 model examinations. Every three months one internal assessment is conducted plus one model exam 2 months before University exams.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Stipend offered is 6000 per month. We get to do clinical works as part of studies as well as intership year. Clinical postings are around 1 month for each on an average. Internship year is one full year where we get to deal and understand about challenging cases and patients which lay the solid foundation for you after graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No increase in tution fees since I joined. The fee is steady. ?1732500 They provide a stipend of 6000 per month They have plenty of scholarships for economically and socially backward people. They have an NSS club and we usually take part in improvement of the surroundings and enlighten people about sustainability

Campus Life :

Sports day, arts day, college day, onam, vishu, Christmas day celebration, holi. Etc. The library is open 9 to 9 and almost every books and available for leading and refering. Library is so good. Sports and extracurricular activities are give importance as they conduct sports day. NSS club

Admission :

Neet qualification with an average of 250 marks KMCT dental college official website No reservations availed Exams are conducted evey 3 months apart from class tests and module tests conducted evey week or after every chapter. The difficulty level is average. No areas of improvement

Faculty :

All the facilities are either MDS or BDS staffs. The teaching techniques implemented is advanced and easy to understand. They are approachable, friendly and supportive. They have a mentor mentee system in which a single teacher is assigned for 10 students. We meet our mentor once every month to discuss any difficulties or improvements. He/she helps us with our concerns and appreciate our good work if any.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why i chose this course was because of this course is the medical field in where we can show our artistic skill and talent. The students who opt this course must be interested in artistic activity because here the practical is equally important as theory. As a girl i choose this course coz this profession does not work for overttime in a clinic. We have scheduled time for our work! So we have a balance between our family and work life. As a Indian student opting this course by thinking to get a well salary job is false! The salary for a newly graduated doctor will be not as our expectation takind all this into our mind we can opt for this course. The difficulty level will be but harder than we thought coz we have to work hard for practical and theory simultaneously

I choose this course when I didn't get MBBS seat according to my mark.now I love this course.In this course in Kerala when we clear atleast two papers we can step to next academic other wise we get 6 months back this course curriculum should be improved.This curriculum help to understand how tough is todays world.Exam is year wise.Every year there is two exam regular and supplementary Exam is very difficult to pass

All about BDS

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS though considered as a simple course,it's not.It requires hand skills along with intellectual knowledge and a good outspolen personality.All these qualities combined together makes you a better dentist.The curriculum provides intellectual knowledge along with improvement in hand skills while staff teaches how to have a good spoken personality. I strongly believe that the curriculum do have its own fault and they should incorporate more about forensic odontology and other aspects of the same.Exams are conducted yearly and its level is quite hard.Year backs are present in the curriculum which is quite disheartening. However work-life balance will be present along with financial stability

Wonderful experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our bds curriculum is too systamatically divised and followed in the college. It covers most of the clinical as well as theoretical aspects of the subject which prepares us for the real challenges. And when it comes to the exams it is moderately difficult. 3 exams will be there including the models conducted 1 and half months apart which is followed by a final university exam regulated by kuhs. But i would suggest to improve the current curriculum in order to include modern advancements in our field which definitely can't be achieved through teaching using primitive ways like presentations etc.
