Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure of DU is just awesome. I am from electronics so let me tell you of electronic dept, that syllabus is very much balanced in theory and practical portion. You will get a sufficient number of experiments to do I ur 3-year graduation. it is best.
Placement Experience :
yes, our college provides internships but they charge a lot. Placements cell is also there but I don't think that they will give us jobs because if they want technically sound person then they must go with engineering students.
College Events :
The annual college fest nexus is among the best college fest in all over India. Many celebrities come to our college during the fest seasons. Also, there are many activities like seminars and conferences that always happens in our college. I like it very much
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is not very much and is very less if compared with fees of engineering. like for me the first year fees are 13500 and at the time of exams, the examination fees are 1000 per sem so for a year the total comes around 15500. except this, they don't charge a single penny.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, they don't give any scholarship for general category students. This is because it is a central university.
Campus Life :
The campus life is just awesome but u need to maintain an attendance of 67 percent if u want to sit in semester exams. But if your attendance is more than 40 percent then you can be allowed to write exams only if you have a good relationship with the student union of our college.
Alumni/Alumna :
they are good and helpful but they are very much overloaded in their studies so that's why they don't get time to interact with us.
Admission :
At may the forms for admission in DU will come and one just need to fill the form with all your marks and school details. you can fill any number of courses but frankly, you must fill only those courses in which you actually want to take an admission that, the cutoff of colleges is not on an aggregate percentage of 12th rather it is based on best of 3 subjects marks or best of 4 for some courses. in my case, it is based on best of 3 subject percentage. when the cutoff list is declared you are supposed to check it and find if you are getting admission or not. then report to that college immediately.
Faculty :
The faculty of college is just awesome. They are very much supportive but some teachers are not good, there is a sir in dept. of electronics called Hari Singh. He is somewhat strict and somewhat a crack from the upper portion of his head. but except him every faculty is very much friendly and caring. specially his wife i.e. prof. Sneha Verma.
