Entrance Preview :
Due to high placement ratio. This college is located in the heart of the city. Having a very good connectivity to the entire city. The faculties here are well trained and they are having a very good humour to the students. They are like parents for all of us within the campus and outside from the campus also. You will learn a lot of discipline from your college life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well designed. It is modified from time to time as per the industry needs. All the syllabus is industry oriented. You will get enough knowledge in the field if you are a little bit curious. Also, the course curriculum is sufficient for gate exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, Many multinational companies provide internships from the campus recruitment itself. The general stipend is from 8000 to 24000. I have a very good experience of internship which I have done from my college.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is extremely strong and caring. They are dedicated to providing 100% placement. Almost all the students get placed from the college. Some of the students also get more than 5 offers from the campus itself. You will get jobs as per your interest.
College Events :
There are many festivals which are celebrated throughout the year. Tech fests are main in the list. It is conducted in the month of January. There are various local chapters within the campus like ISHARE, III, MECHANICAL SOCIETIES, etc. They organise various events from time to time.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is affordable and it is decided by the University itself. It is around 100000 per annum. And in my case, it was 80k per annum. you need to pay semester exam fees at the time of semester exams. It is 1200 rupees only for now. It was only 1k initially, but it has been increased since last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, you can get a loan from the college only after the proper verification process. Many banks are associated with the college. They provide loans to the students after the verification.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good. You will definitely enjoy their campus having all the modern facilities including the water cooler, lifts etc. Gender ratio male: female is 6:4 in the campus. There are many extracurricular activities organised on the campus. We have robotics clubs. We enjoy every event a lot.
Hostel Facilities :
College hostel is very good. You will get all the basic facilities over there. Food quality in the hostel's mess is very good. They change the menu time to time to provide good quality food to the students. They are also having guests rooms for parents who are coming to meet with their wards.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is very strong. Faculties are very cooperative. You can reach any of your seniors any time, whenever you need them.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is designed by the University, MAKEOUT. It is a pre-planned process. Everything gets completed on scheduled time. There are mainly two internal exams, called mid-semester exams, and one main or semester exam, which is conducted by the University.
Admission :
I got admission in this college through entrance test. It is named as WBJEE. Lakhs of students appear for this exam. I got 2165th rank in this exam. And opted for electrical engineering as my field of interest was in the core sector. The admission process is 100% transparent.
Faculty :
Faculties are very good. They are well trained to teach engineering students. Many of them are PhD holders. Some of them are from IIT's. They teach us in both theoretical and practical ways. You can gain a lot of knowledge if you are a little bit curious.
