FACULTY: The faculty is highly qualified with mostly being Ph.D. holders in their respective fields.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is little bit disappointing.
college dress is mandatory for regular class in HIT.

The success of any college curriculum depends on how it is implemented and whether the core objectives like learning transfer and attainment of life skills are not compromised with. In haldia institute of technology these things are considered properly.

Internships Opportunities :

In Haldia Institue of Technology, there is a good oppurtunities to grab internships but you should have the proper knowledge in a particular field and make atleast one or two projects also. In HIT you can get the internship oppurtunities from 3rd semester afterwards.

Placement Experience :

In Haldia Institue of Technology placement scenario is good. This year almost 55% students gets placed which is little bit disappointing. But also the last year almost 91% students get placed. which is very good performance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Now the total fees of HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is 634200 with hostel and without hostel it will decreases upto 533200. last year the college fees is less as compared to this year. otherwise the food cost and living cost is affordable around haldia institute of technology.

Campus Life :

In Haldia Institute of Technology you can get full enjoyment. in this college functions, fests, tournaments are organised regulary for students to focusing on the extra curricular activities. There is lush green campus and a good infrastructure that you can get a premium college vibe.

Hostel Facilities :

In HIT, There are total 3 hostels for 1st year boys. In my case, my hostel mess food is little bit tasteless but the hostel atmosphere, the enjoyment is next level. the hostel is full supportive and helpful.

Hostel Fee : INR 101000 per year

Admission :

For admission in haldia institute of technology you have to qualify WBJEE. In WBJEE exam according to your rank you got the respective branch in HIT. And their is also management quota through which you get direct admission in haldia institute of technology.

Faculty :

In Haldia Institute of Technology, the faculty members are well qualified. Almost all of the teachers have p.hD. degree. And the teachers of HIT are supportive and helpful to the students. whenever you have any doubt the teacher were always ready to clear it in class or after the class is over..

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.

talking about few things. the quality of teaching delivered, educational technology available, facility provided at campus, placement records, location of the college, living environment around college. none of these are suitable or habitable. I may surely not advise anyone to get admitted in this college.
