Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum at Thapar University is both relevant and comprehensive. It is designed to meet industry standards and equips students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge. It ensures a well-rounded education for students.
Internships Opportunities :
Thapar University has a decent internship opportunity, either its tech or non-tech. The stipendof an average of 30k is there. There is a 1 year project in 3rd year called CAPSTONE project which contains 8 credits and is a major project.
Placement Experience :
Placements at Thapar University are good. almost 80% of students are placed easily. Companies like Samsung, Apple, Crompton Greaves etc visit the campus. My plan is to write the GATE exam and further go for government jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for UG programs like B.E. ranges from 4 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. To support financially, the university provides merit-based scholarships for high achievers, need-based financial aid, and special scholarships.
Campus Life :
Annual events like Saturnalia, Food Fest, Mudra, Virsa, Izhaar and many more are some of the best events in Thapar University. They are amazing events and happen once a year. Sports offered on Campus have a great variety. Student run societies are not good at all.
Admission :
Admission process at Thapar involves filling out an online application , submitting required documents and taking relevant exams like JEE Main for B.E. Areas for improvement include more transparent communication about cut offs etc
