The college management is good and so much corporative.
Entrance Preview :
It is the only college in Mumbai where lectures for BCA are held in both part-time and full-time format. There are 2-3 more colleges but there are only part-time lectures for this course. So this college is different from all other colleges. BCA degree is from TMV University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is a different course from another course of IT field. This course has a combination of both hardware and software knowledge as well as management subject to make us ready for the corporate world. There is a total of six semesters in this course and there are 6-7 subjects each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
No, it does not provide the internship. Instead of this, a common job fair is carried out for all students of all courses.
Placement Experience :
There is a job fair conduct by college every year in common for all the students. Where different companies come and interview the students and select them according to there openings. In my last year, there were very companies like ICICI Lombard, pantaloons, and many different companies.
College Events :
In December various days are celebrated in the college like a traditional day, saree day, tie day, black and white day, Chocolate day and many more. And there is an annual function name JALOSH which happens every year in the month of January where different events are held for students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The course fee keeps on changing every year. There are two options to pay the fees, we can make the one-time payment or in installments. We can pay in both cash or DD/Cheques. The course fee is nominal compared to other courses and institutions. Because this college has full-time lectures.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No scholarship or loan facility is offered by my college until I know. If we want we can apply for a study loan from outside and pay the fees.
Campus Life :
The campus life is good. There is not any gender ratio both girls and boys are there in this course equally interested in the course. IT lab has good arrangements required for a practical session like a projector and whiteboard and all the PC's are well maintained.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility at our college. If the students want they can make a group of 3-4 students and take an apartment on rent near the college there are many buildings near a college so they can get the room easily near the college and they can share the rent amongst themselves.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, the senior students are very much helpful to the Juniors. Like they help them out for getting the last year papers of the coming semesters to prepare for the exam.
Exam Structure :
There are 6 semesters in this course and course duration is 3 years. Each semester has 6-7 subjects. Combination of both theory and practice. There is a written, practical and online exam in each semester of every subject. This is a 60:40 pattern exam.
Admission :
I directly got the admission. There is no entrance exam required for this course. This is a distance education course which is not from Mumbai University. This course is from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth Pune. I went to the college and filled the form and paid the fees. We can pay in both full payments and in installments.
Faculty :
There is highly educated faculty. The college has hired the good faculty for this course. They teach us in a very good manner. They conduct a different type of activity related to our course and try to teach us in a new and innovative way. They also conduct a regular test to see the progress of students.
