Course Curriculum Overview :

Seriously I chose this course because I want to be an engineer and here there are lots of resources available regarding libraries, labs with all instruments, projectors in class, and I think in college no one studies in a class all students do their own self-study by the notes, ppts and pdf provided by the teacher

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As i am in batch 2022 my fee is 85k per sem amd 2023 have fee 1 lakh per sem and 2024 have fee of 1 lakh 30k so fee is growing very high and hostel fee was also increased from 6000 for each type of ac and non ac

Campus Life :

The campus life is very good we have evening classes so the campus close timing means the hostel in timing is 12 at night and here we have lots of dj night in which we get big stars of punjabi films. Industry and all

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is quite okay. the food of the hostel mess is no so good It is good we can only take one time but the hostel has 2-3 lifts so the students may not feel tired and have both ac and non ac and cooler options

Admission :

The admission process was simple apply online application form of rs 1500 they will call you for fee payment if you get the seat by clearing the simple eligibility criteria of just 60% in physics, chemistry and math

Faculty :

The teacher are very helpful and all have almost good degree almost all teacher have done phd with dr in front of their name. the teachers are ever ready to help the students there are lots of teachers.

I think those who really deserve to get the good placement, even this year when everyone is talking about the recession LPU's students got placement of 52lpa, 39lpa, and much more, and yes if the student will increase and the job seats will not then there will be an increase in unemployability

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. The curriculum at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive education that balances theoretical foundations with practical applications. The courses are continually updated to reflect the latest advancements in technology and industry trends, ensuring that students receive a modern and relevant education. Each program offers a well-rounded mix of core subjects, electives, and hands-on projects that allow students to tailor their learning experiences to

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was passionate about coding from my 10th class and technology always fascinates me. In our class, total students were 70 which was same for most of the sections. Some faculty members of my college were good while most of them were tolerable. Most of them had masters degree and some had done PhD. They were focused mostly on the curricullum designed by the university and completed syllabus within the timeline. Our college had separate marks for attendance and any student with below 75 attendance will not be able to give end term exams except for some medical condition. We had CAs (class assement exams), mid term exams and end term exams. The CAs are little bit higher level as that of mid and end terms exams. Overall exams are moderate to higher and someone who had studied the syllabus topics and followed the faculty members will easy pass the exam.

Placement Experience:

Placement of cse is very good with respect to other branches. Almost 70–80% of eligible students(having cgpa more than 6.67) get placed in different mnc’s. 1.package less than 4 lacs 80% of placed students get package of less than 4 lacs in companies like cognizant, tcs, techmahindra etc. 2.package in between 4–7 lacs 15% of placed students falls in this category, they get companies like bosch, yodlee, hitachi etc. 3.package of approx 15 lacs Remaining 5% students get placement in amazon(package 16 lpa) which visit lpu every year.
