Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose history. And I think it's a very good and knowledgeable course to study. You get to know about your past, which you can easily understand, and get to know the truth about what actually happened. There are many myths regarding history but when you read you get to know the real truth. As a career you can prepare for competitive exams, teachers or professors is also a good career option

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For BA Hons., there was not much fees as compared to other colleges. It was around 7000 along with examination fees. People who belong to other categories and regions get scholarships regards their eligibility. If I talk about employment opportunities in BA there's no placement and all. You must have some extra skills if you want to get employed. The degree is not fine for getting employed.

Campus Life :

It was good. The whole environment is so good. Every fresher's or fest, all the functions, and all was a good experience in DU. The teachers are good, the library is good. All the technologies and infrastructure are so good and better. Overall it's best. There are many societies that you can join as per your interest you just have to give an audition.

Admission :

You must have 50% in class 12th. Its category-wise percentage. I got admission in the first cut-off as in 2018 the admissions were on the basis of merit as well. So I didn't take any entrance exam for DU just got direct admission as I got 80% in 12th. You just have to fill out the application form which costs 250rs. And give entrance exam and as per the marks and cut off get the addmission.

Faculty :

I can assure you that the professors are very good and so experienced. They are so full of knowledge and also participated in debates on news channels many times. They are so good and clear in teaching which make us understand the concept so easy. They are very friendly and interect with their every students. They provide such surrounding that we can feel comfortable around them.

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement Experience:

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

6th-semester students are eligible to apply for campus placements. Companies like Bains and Co., KPMG, etc visit our college. Some are known and some unknown. I did not participate in campus placements as I decided to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body. The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.

Placement Experience:

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
