I the best thing i liked about this college are the professors and the faculty. The professors were helpfull and understanding. The office staff was also helpfull. The professors were very professional and experienced. They helped me a lot
The college location is best . The quality of the infrast. ructure is good like a normal gov college, we can't expect private college like designs. The college has a computer lab , a chemistry physics and biology lab , a library and a seminar hall .

Dislikes

The college infrastructure needs some development. The college needs more lights in the hallway otherwise it looks like a horror film set .
The college routine needs to be changed and the college need more bilingual teachers and stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. I personally feel my course will help me lot in the near future as most of the population in this world speak English and it opens a wide variety of carrier options for me

Internships Opportunities :

The college organises internship program where different types of earning opportunities are discussed many lecturers attend the program and provide info about jobs and opportunities other then the conventional jobs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since it's a government aided institution it's fees is very less as compared to private colleges and other gov aided institutions. Government provides easy scholarship like SWAMI VIVEKANANDA scholarship etc . Which helps students from poor background.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good. Good social environment. Healthy student politics no ragging and fighting. Made lots of friends their. College conducts an yearly sports program. Student clubs are their which helps a lot .

Admission :

Eligible students need atleast 70% in 12 board exam. Students can easily apply through online application on the college website or the government website . Every information related to online admission can be found on the college websites.

Faculty :

The faculties are overall good. Just need few bilingual stuffs . The professors are helpfull and are very professional. They are very experienced in their respective fields. The faculty to students ratio 30:1

OUR BHAIRAB GANGULY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall my course is good and suitable for me but one thing that i didn't like is exam timing. Exam timing is too short . Students have to write a 14 page of a answer sheet within 1 hour. This is almost impossible. College should change this rule and should extend the exam timing.
