Faculty is very helpful also labs are well maintained and various types of activities are available to do in free time

Dislikes

College infrastructure is well but not that good in comparison with fees

Course Curriculum Overview :

First of all, I don't have maths in my +2 so btech is not possible but the course I choose BSc Cs its curriculum and syllabus are almost 80%. the skills we are going to learn in this course are very updated according to today's requirements.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Various internship offers are made every year 30k to 60 stipend is also available, to get a good internship you have to do a good project, be well skilled and also required a good academic record

Placement Experience :

In 4th semester you're eligible for internship and then after 7th sem, you're eligible for campus placement, Various companies like more than 50 companies visit every year companies like Amazon, IB, Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is ok, also you can get a scholarship of rs 50000 if you're from WB, an education loan is also available, and placements are available in this college like highest 12LPA and average 4lpa.

Campus Life :

Various events are connected in this college like first fresher which is Bihan, then sports Game of Thrones, and the annual fest Regalia, also hackathon event known as techtrix is happens every year, and various other type of activities is available like carrom, table tennis, and so many clubs

Admission :

There is an exam you have to qualify for eligible for this course which is CET. The exam is not that hard. It's in online mode for 2-3 seats are reserved. Every year, the admission process is also easy. overall it's a good

Faculty :

They are very helpful and well qualified all teachers are PhD holders and have experience of more than 15-20 years. Also, the faculty of our college is exemplary in fostering a dynamic and engaging learning experience.

I selected this course because I am naturally interested in computer science and moreover computer science is a very good course . The curriculum is very holistic and covers all necessary topics . The course could more practical than theory is based this would be my suggestion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

I have choosen this course because I was interested in it. Nd the faculties of this department is also good. All the professors of our department are PhD qualified and also researching on some field now also. They are quite frankly and helpful also. Total strength of the class is 43 from which most of them are from different states.

Remarks:

This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. I am in love with this college.

The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads. This is quite disturbing since it takes time to attend general classes after attending honors class in a separate building.
