  • Placement services need to be more effective. Quite few student get on campus placement.
  • The campus is very far from the city. Commuting from college to city becomes expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum at RGNUL is diverse and comprehensive which significantly influenced my decision to purse my legal education from here. It's well structure to cater both Judiciary focused and corporate aspirants. There are centers such as RICE for training students for competitive exams and also gives you enough internship and moot court opportunities. The curriculum effectively bridges between theoretical knowledge and practical application through effective confrences, moot courts, competitions, workshops and other seminars. The college gives you enough doors to walk in for your academic pursuit but beyond this it is only YOU who has to put in the efforts and work hard to open those doors. However there's a room for improvement by introducing more experienced faculty to maintain the quality standards.

Internships Opportunities :

After the end of each semester you get an internship break. The internship cell provides students with information about upcoming internship opportunities. Starting from NGOs to Law firms all types of internship is offered.

Placement Experience :

There is an active placement cell at college which provides us with internship and other job opportunities. The placement at the campus is quite average. Since our alumuni base is not much strong, not many Tier 1 companies come here. Most of the students turn towards off campus placements than on campus due to low number of students get placed at a good law firm.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee for new admission 2024 would be 259000. (Including the refundable security and excluding mess fees) There are two semesters in a year and total 10 semesters in five years. The mess fees for each semester is 20000. The University has increased the overall fees for the upcoming new batches. The tuition fees increases every year. There are different schemes for the grant of scholarship to the undergraduate students. There are differenct scholarship for SC/ST and PwD students.

Campus Life :

The overall experience at college is good but honestly sometimes it becomes too monotonus. Since the college is quite far from the city there are no place nearby to hangout. There is Cultural Committee and Literary and Debate Committee which organises events to keep up our social spirits high. The con is that there is only one Flagship event i.e, sports fest Zealus. There is no cultural fest as such organised in the campus. The sports facilities are good here. Many centers, clubs and student run social groups are there in college for one to participate. The parties when happen in college are really good. The library is quite good with good range of books. There are air conditioned reading rooms.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good here comparitively to other NLUs. Hostels have ACs in every room. There are common washrooms. The rooms are quite spacious. They give you a bed without mattress, a study table and chair, cupboard for books and a big cupboard for clothes. From 4th year it is mandatory to have a single occupancy. Mess food quality is good. Menu changes every semester. They give you 4 meals a day. There is also a guest house in campus.

Admission :

You get eligible for admission into this college after you qualify the CLAT exam. The admission is given on merit-cum-preference basis. For general students, you should get a rank under 1000 and for SC/ST/PwD students there are diff cutoffs.

Faculty :

Faculty members at RGNUL are well qualified and has completed their education from prestigious universities. The faculty to student ratio is less for some law subjects like International law which impacts for those students who want to pursue higher studies abroad. The teachers are approachable and one can easily ask for any mentorship and guidance from teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum could be a little more practical rather than just theoretical, court visits are very few and there's no provision for placement through college so it is kinda like a big disappointment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The semester's duration although is of 6 months but that is just to say. In fact the semester is of 4 months only. That too after every 2 months they organise exams. Firstly Mid sem and then End sem. In short there's only burden of studies on the students and they doesn't bother to prepare the students for future aspects. Also their only focus is on theoretical study and not on practical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is comprehensive and so far relevant as far as the subjects are their practicability is concerned. Many of top law colleges also abide by similar course curriculum. However, the course has a compulsory 15 day internship but only in the 5th year which is where I think it lacks real world understanding, no doubt students now are facilitated by faculty for internships in vacations. But regular court, mediation, or similar visits could make an impactful change. The teaching method of each teacher varries accordingly and is understandable. But where the semester system often is of 6 months, giving students enough time to learn and prepare, comparatively the semester in this university end within 4 months, and there is a gap of merely one month between mid terms that cover half or even more than half of syllabus and end semester exams i.e finals.
