The placement happening every year is pretty good as every year company coming here takes a lot of students who are eligible.

Dislikes

Courses for btech should be more in developer side rather than basic physics and drawing in first year
Food quality can be better in canteen as they are lagging in food quality

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses for first year according to me might can Have more in developer side for btech computer science as in first year physics chemistry maths are added which is already there in senior secondary so to start with the promming from first year can help the students to understand and able to achieve more accuracy in programming so that it can help in real time programming experience.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 349000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Yes there are few internships happened in the university. But for females there is internships happened in which the stipend goes upto 1lakh per month for 3 months and also average of 15000 per month. There are free internships too.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college are pretty much good as the highest package goes up to 12lpa and an average package is 3.50 lpa. Also good companies arrives here every year and the number is also increasing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for btech for the year 2018 was rs 349000 which is affordable at that time and also in this structure the quality of education the faculty provide is cherry on top. And also there are scholarships and consessions are there for students who have done well in senior secondary so that it can help the students for affording the education.

Campus Life :

The campus life is just amazing as the campus is lush green and infrastructure is pretty well so it's kind of photogenic too. Also there are social activities happened every month so that students development should be from overall side like blood donation etc. Also the labs equipments are maintained very much. There is no any lack of equipments in the lab too.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good as the university is attached to the hostel. The hostel rate at that time is 5000 pm for four beded and there are washrooms, geysers and cooling water machine too.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

For eligible in this college admission you have to be passed in senior secondary with an average of 60% for engineering courses and for non engineering courses you can be eligible even you have more than 50%. The application process is not so lengthy it's just you provide the correct documents and your admission can be done without being late.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is good overall because every faculty makes sure that every student should able to understand. Their approach is to make student understand and then questioning if they didn't understood and also they have a good knowledge of the respective subjects. If any student lack in their understanding they understood them outside the class

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
