Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose diploma in computer engineering for being a software engineering and as kharghar is called the education hub of navi mumbai so i applied this course in saraswati college. The curriculum is mostly based on theoritical things and would be of help rarely in real world.

Internships Opportunities :

Saraswati Institute of Technology offers a range of internship opportunities to its students, aim at providing practical exposures and handson experience in their respective fields. Pinnacle Infotech in Vashi offers a specialised internship program focused on Advanced Java.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is around 50000 and is increased year on year. The total fees of the college is 55000 and 7000 of transportation and stationary fees so it totals upto 62000. I have applied and availed scholarship in this college, the scholarship of around 30000

Campus Life :

Campus life at Saraswati Institute of Technology in Kharghar is vibrant and engagging. SIOT has a variety of clubs and student organisations catering to different interests. The infrastructure at SIT is designed to support a comprehensive educational experience. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms, well-maintained laboratories, a well-stocked library, and dedicated spaces for extracurricular activities.

Admission :

I applied in this college through CAP admission round so i had around 79% in SSC Maharashtra so i got admitted in SIOT. The application form, fees, dates and others enquiries are answers in the account section of the college. The frequency would be of something around 2 months and difficulty would be mid.

Faculty :

The facilty are genuinely supportive and they are actualy qualified enough to teach the subjects that are being taught. The faculty toh student ratio would be around 20:1. The teachers are easily approachable and quite understanding.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year There are several companies visited e.g ( TCS, Cummins, L&T, Infosys, wirtgen Group, etc ) The highest average package for a fresher is 5 LPA, and also according to their degree type. Upto 80 percent of the students get placements in the companies. My plan after the diploma is to get a master's degree.
