Life at mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology

Dislikes

  • I need placement scenario should be improved its not quite good
  • Fee is also kinda high exam fee as well as your tuition fee

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose metallurgy and material engineering because it is one of the best clg in Hyderabad, the faculty is very good with you, they all have completed their PhD. They even have 2 to 3 teachers for lab along with your working staff.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes they send you to intership to various industries overall india but these interships are mostly unpaid only the class topper gets an intership of 15k he works in the government institution like drdo or bark isro.

Placement Experience :

Placements situation is the 1 part where our department and college has to work on we are not getting high placement average salary packages is around 4 lakhs but every one is placed if you are satisfied with 4 to 5 lakhs starting its ok you can join

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are bit high if you join via eamcet i would rather suggest you to join via sport admission, you can also purse for education loan if you want to, you don’t get any kind of stipend while studying in mgit

Campus Life :

Yes the clubs and all the extracurricular activities are fun and you have good fest we have student run ngo called street cause which is an national level ngo which will help you develop yourself and same time help others and yeah we have our annual college fest.

Admission :

You must have completed your 12 with science maths and physics, then write eamcet for admission and the fees is 1 lakh 8 thousand, u can have reservations benefits if your join via emacet, but i will advise you to join via spot admission if you are getting anything greater than 72 thousand from emacet

Faculty :

We have 38 members in our class and we have faculty around 12 so the ratio is quite good every one of them are having PhD they are well qualified to teach us they help us an quide you to help you excel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was quite disappointed with the cirriculum that has been designed. Its not at all tailored to teach you the approaches for solving the real world problems . The cirriculum is atleast 10 years behind. The same old things are taught. Talking about exams, they are conducted for every quarter of a semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing this college was done when I was in my Intermediate, I was attracted to the Courses & mainly towards a BS Degree. We have Regular classes along with a Digital Teaching system. & most of the assignments are activity based which helps in gaining practical & theoretical based Knowledge. The teaching faculty are really good, and most of them are down to earth. Along with us, Our teachers also work hard, they train us in the best way they can. We can openly discuss our doubts, or topics, which we feel hard or unable to understand, etc. By working hard, we can easily pass the term exams, without great difficulty.
