Entrance Preview :
I opted for Kashmir university because it is among the best colleges in India and it falls in my vicinity. this college has also highest no. Of GPAT qualifiers every year. This college had got the best faculty and highly qualified teachers and they teach very well. we have well-developed labs also
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course that is b pharm also known as a bachelor of pharmacy is among the top-ranked courses in the medical field. It has got a very broad scope because the field is quite widespread and there is a surge of pharmacists in hospitals and industries. pharmacists also get the high amount of salaries
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, our college provides internship in m pharm. but that requires qualifying got. we are given a stipend of 20000 thousand per year . in Ph.D. the stipend increases up to 60000.we got a lot of other scholarships also which extends up to 30-40k
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are quite high. we get a lot of jobs in industries and hospitals as pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. we can also get into management jobs also as presidents and vice presidents after doing MBA in pharmaceutical management. That means the carrier opportunities are quite high. our college has got a high placement rate. every year almost all the batch gets placed in industries and hospitals
College Events :
There are many events which are celebrated in the college. we have the annual day of our department. And we also have our freshers party and our farewell parties to our seniors. we have also many other co-curricular activities in our college. there are also singing competitions and other activities
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is quite feasible. students can easily manage to pay the fee. We have got only 12000 per year course fee. We also have got our tour fee that is 12000 and that is for the entire course. There are other seats that are self-financed seats.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, loan or scholarships are availed by the university management ..that helps the students who are not well off a lot. the university provides a scholarship of about 70000 per year under post-matric scholarships
Campus Life :
There are many events which are celebrated in the college. we have the annual day of our department. Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are quite good. we have. Newly-made hostels with almost all facilities. We have got a gym and other recreational facilities. We have got a recreation room. The hostel rooms are sharing. that is two people are accommodated in one room. We have also a free wifi
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, there is a well-developed alumni network. We have got Kashmir university alumni association also.
Exam Structure :
The exams and labs were very much hectic .but our teachers also are very much helpful and very much understanding and when we tell them they postpone our exams and when we are fully prepared they take exams. we have a lab on a daily basis of pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, pharma engineering etc. The exams also help us a lot to be prepared for oncoming conditions
Admission :
I had applied for Kashmir university entrance test in August. Then in September, I appeared in the entrance test. there were a total of 2000 students who appeared in the entrance test. The intake capacity of our college is 35. the result was declared in October and then the admission process started in October
Faculty :
The faculty of our college is best. We have got well-qualified teachers .we have maximum teachers from the national institute of pharmaceutical management and research.the faculty is well managed. The faculty is very much student friendly. They teach very well. They are very student friendly
